Chapter 4352: The Chaotic Void Breaking Rune
The Eastern Extreme Dragon Pythons were chaos born beings that lived within the Eastern Extreme of Chaos. They possessed a certain measure of intellect not as sharp as most civilized tribes, but enough to think and form their own ideas.
Chaos was fair in its own way. The lack of wisdom was balanced by tremendous natural ability.
They were born powerful. From the instant of birth, they had already achieved chaos transformation, fully adapted to the environment. By adulthood, more than eighty percent could reach Chaos Realm Lesser Completion.
And upon reaching that stage, they awakened their inborn talents.
Much like the Putrid Corpse Grubs, their talent was tied to space. They could step freely across the void, passing into spatial seams at will.
Many treasures that had fallen into spatial seams ended up being discovered by them.
Aside from space gifts, the Eastern Extreme Dragon Pythons possessed another formidable ability: the power to command Eastern Extreme Flame.
The chaotic qi in the Eastern Extreme carried within it intense fire laws, and many native beings wielded such force.
But the Dragon Pythons, combining it with their innate space traversal, could refine materials or even launch attacks across layers of space.
Some materials could not be touched directly, for they would counterattack. But with this gift, the Dragon Pythons could bypass all danger, refining from afar.
Their strength could pierce endless layers of space, erupting silently, lethally.
Listening to Little Peng describe them, Lin Moyu could only sigh. Chaos birthed all manner of beings, countless and strange. Creatures appeared with powers one could never predict.
"By this account," Lin Moyu muttered, "the cross domain grand array could indeed be tied to the Eastern Extreme Dragon Pythons."
Little Peng shook his head; his bloodline memory held no answer to that.
Lin Moyu could not judge yet, but one certainty remained:
His direction was not wrong.
If the array's disappearance was connected to the Dragon Pythons, then trouble loomed.
For they were unlike the Putrid Corpse Grubs. Dragon Pythons possessed immense combat strength. With spatial talents added, they could both fight and flee with ease.
Even if he unleashed his countless undead, they might be hard to pin down.
"If it truly is them… I'll need a plan."
Lin Moyu considered soberly.
He possessed four external forces:
the Ice Jade Meditation Cushion,
the Cause Seeking Ring,
the Catastrophic Scepter,
and his mastery of formations.
The cushion was ruled out first. He could not fully control it.
The Cause Seeking Ring was too savage, injuring both user and enemy. Against one or two strong foes, it was fine. Against an entire tribe? Impossible unless he had infinite rebirths to spare.
He would not waste his limited Rebirths on them.
The Catastrophic Scepter? He could wield it, but it was his greatest trump card. To rely on it again and again would only weaken him in the long term.
So the best choice… was formations.
"With formations, I can subdue their space born gifts. Break their roots. Then my undead horde can sweep them."
He resolved his course. Formation would be his counter.
He began to work.
If Eastern Extreme Dragon Pythons were built on space, then his goal was to tear that apart.
He envisioned a formation to cover all space, to blanket across every seam, every inch of dimensional layer with no gaps for slipping through.
One rune after another burned into existence chaos runes, drawn, studied, and modified.
The spatial runes were fewer in number, so he refined them all, pushing their strength to new horizons.
Every rune master had their own style. Chaos Runes had no fixed model. Right or wrong did not exist. Only effectiveness mattered useful, practical, powerful.
Through cycles of reforging, he found the rune he needed…
A new Divine Rune. Its shape a giant claw, stretching through all spaces, piercing into the deepest currents of spatial turbulence.
It could channel the very power of the spatial chaos tides, forcing all the space within tens of thousands of miles into chaos.
It did not stabilize space it made it unstable. Violent, swirling oceans of vortices.
He named it: The Chaotic Void Breaking Rune.
With it as cornerstone, Lin Moyu sketched the great web.
A new formation, seeded with a hundred thousand Chaotic Void Breaking Runes. Encompassing a battlefield that stretched tens of millions of miles.
In the scale of Chaos itself not vast. But more than enough for a war.
And when combined with his Wings of Chaos, the turbulence would amplify further. A realm of absolute disorder where no spatial power could cross.
Lin Moyu whispered coldly:
"I do not believe even Dragon Pythons can traverse such chaos freely."
The array, forged, condensed into a formation disk at his palm.
Perfect, to deploy at need.
"If even this cannot bind them…"
Little Peng flying ahead tirelessly blurted out, "Then what?"
"Then I'll think of another way," Lin Moyu said casually.
Little Peng nearly spat blood in exasperation. "Father, you mean you don't even know if this plan will work?!"
Lin Moyu grinned. "Can't say I don't. If their talent is like the Putrid Corpse Grubs, this formation should be enough to break them."
"But if they have Chaos Greater Completions among them? Difficult to say."
He was confident in his formation. But he knew: Greater Completions varied widely. Some could be weak he had fought at that level before.
And some, like Pang Qi, were so strong that they could crush even most peers at that step.
So only combat would reveal the truth.
More days passed in flight.
Then Lin Moyu's Undead Eyes caught it: flickering soul flames.
"Hide your aura," he said sharply. He cloaked his own instantly.
Little Peng obeyed, though nervous. "Father, I sense nothing!"
The void ahead was blank. No signs save chaos qi itself.
If beings hid, even so, Little Peng was confident in his bloodline perception. He should have felt them.
But Lin Moyu said calmly: "They are not in this layer of space."
Little Peng almost asked if not here, how do you know? But he bit his tongue. He was learning: best not to question.
Lin Moyu's undead sight could not pierce into full dimensions. Yet what he saw was strange nonetheless…
The flame gleams did not belong to this space but their soul presence leaked across, into every layer.
Their spirits stretched like a giant hand, grasping multiple spaces, slipping at will between.
His lips tightened. This was indeed… something formidable.
He had Little Peng halt. He calmly began sketching another Chaotic Void Breaking Rune.
