Chapter 4455: The Changes in Chaos
Lin Moyu teleported again and again, heading toward the location of the Grand World.
He locked onto the direction there would only be some minor course corrections along the way.
During this journey, Lin Moyu observed the changes in his own power. Previously, he focused on the strength of his body and soul, paying little attention to the shift in his spellcasting.
Yet such increases in power would impact techniques as well.
For instance, his undead minions had already reached the Great Completion stage of Chaos Realm, surpassing him once again in tier just like long ago, when his summons always outpaced his own level until that reversed at Chaos Realm. Now it had swapped back, and it felt wonderful!
During his recent battle with Tianlang, he'd noticed something strange while using Ascension.
By gathering a fraction of his strength he could already push his cultivation to the Great Completion of Chaos Realm, but that wasn't the limit of his Ascension.
With his current body and soul, if he went all out, he could advance to Perfection.
But as a being of chaos, bound to its laws, unless his domain matured and fused, the current limit was Great Completion.
Still that was only a limit of cultivation, not power itself.
His strength could keep growing like the living creatures of the Primeval Wasteland, pushing to Perfection or even beyond.
Lin Moyu wasn't in a hurry to advance his realm; the changes that came with it would come when needed.
In any case, he had much to do: his domains weren't well developed yet, so even at Great Completion he needed to perfect his base before advancing.
Now was the time to lay the ultimate foundation, progressing step by step.
After the final teleport, he was still two days' flight from the Grand World.
He summoned Xiao Peng glowing brilliantly with golden light to serve as his mount, heading in the marked direction.
Xiao Peng was incredibly fast, faster than Lin Moyu or his boat, covering tens of millions of miles in a blink, trailing a streak of gold through the chaotic void.

In seeking to clarify the relationship between chaos and the Immortal Dao, he detected some strangeness.
Chaos itself had changed some delicate shift, which, added over time, could become enormous.
He murmured, "It feels like the law of avenues in chaos is changing. See if you sense it too.
Take your time be precise."
He brought out Chaos Child and released Ye Yangyan.
After being refined with Mother Water, Ye Yangyan could freely enter and leave, even use his power as long as he didn't attack too forcefully.
Lin Moyu asked Ye Yangyan now a quasi Supreme with a sensitive soul to feel for any oddities in chaos.
Though Xiao Peng's soul was less refined, his Golden Winged Peng blood gave him an edge in sensitivity.
All five of them including Little Tree and Lin Moyu himself concentrated, sensing quietly for three days.
Xiao Peng whispered, "It's true something's changed. The avenue power in the last three days has grown ever so slightly."
Chaos Child nodded, "It's stronger very faintly, but it's there."
Little Tree disagreed, "Even if it's a tiny change now, it'll add up in thousands or tens of thousands of years."
Lin Moyu concurred: "I agree. It may not take that long. Ye Yangyan, what do you sense?"
Now the answer was clear chaos's fundamental laws were strengthening.
The effect was small, but persistent and widespread.
Ye Yangyan answered, "Master is right. Before long, maybe in one or two centuries, the change will be obvious. Chaos's avenue power is growing incrementally faster with each passing year."
As a quasi Supreme, his sensitivity surpassed theirs.
Lin Moyu asked, "Can you find the source?"
Ye Yangyan nodded, "The ancient wasteland. That's where it's coming from I feel as if something from the wasteland is heading here, and chaos's change is its result."
"Something from the wasteland?" Lin Moyu murmured. "Do you know what it is?"
Ye Yangyan shook his head, "That I cannot determine."
Lin Moyu mused, "In a few days, when we reach the domain world, leave a bit of your bloodline, then head into the wasteland to investigate."
Ye Yangyan accepted without question his will to rebel had been dissolved by Mother Water; now, he was both independent and utterly compliant.
Provided Ye Yangyan found whatever was coming, Lin Moyu would see it, too.
He had the feeling this matter was connected to him after all, the radiance that covered chaos from the wasteland had appeared because of him.
Otherwise, the timing was too coincidental.
After a few more days of Xiao Peng's flight, they reached their destination.
"Looks lively here!"
Lin Moyu pinpointed the Grand World's location; many other beings loitered nearby.
Most were at the Lord of Dao stage, some looking like rabbits, searching under the lead of their half step chaos blood kin.
These rabbit like beings were chaos creatures, able to survive freely in chaos even with lower cultivation.
They were searching for the Grand World, evidently.
Lin Moyu glanced around and saw a Great Completion chaos bunny the true target sitting in the void.
This bunny was here to reach Perfection, for which he needed a domain.
Yet chaos was huge how did any of them know the Grand World was here?
Lin Moyu flew over and asked, "What are you looking for?"
The bunnies scattered; fearful, they hurried away from him.
The Great Completion bunny looked at Lin Moyu warily. "None of your business. Get lost or I'll eat you!"
"What did you say?"
Suddenly Ye Yangyan appeared before the giant bunny and slapped it hard.
