Chapter 4498: Sharp Gold Beasts, Xiao Peng's Battle Power
The Ferry of Calamity sailed through the void for several dozen days, long past Wangdong, still some distance from the Fifth World Domain.
Even though both are in the eastern part of the Central Domain, the journey between Wangdong and the Fifth World Domain still takes hundreds of days.
This isn't because the Ferry is slow chaos itself is just unimaginably vast. Without teleport arrays or spatial rifts, even the Ferry consumes endless time.
It could cross the entire Fifth World Domain in under half an hour if it went full speed.
Suddenly, the array supplying Xiao Peng with Primordial Qi stopped the energy flow ceased.
Without it, Xiao Peng opened his eyes, displaying clear irritation like a person rudely awakened from deep sleep with a burst of grumpiness.
But upon seeing Little Tree and Chaos Child, his annoyance vanished immediately.
He wouldn't dare act out around these two powers.
Lin Moyu explained calmly, "Your Golden Winged Peng bloodline has awakened to ninety percent you mustn't go further, or that entity will come for you, and you'll surely die."
Xiao Peng stuck out his tongue the enormous tongue whipped through the void like a lash. "I understand. Thank you, father."
Lin Moyu said, "There will be a chance in the future to fully restore your bloodline; I have a method in mind, but it's not perfected yet, and I'm still working on it."
Xiao Peng replied, "I trust you'll manage it."
Lin Moyu nodded, "Once you recover, come out. The Ferry is too slow maybe you can move us faster."
In a flash, Xiao Peng manifested in the real world as a golden roc not entirely golden, only his wings gleamed gold; the rest stayed the same.
Xiao Peng became a ray of golden light, taking off in the lead towards the Fifth World Domain.
His speed was at least a hundred times the Ferry's, leaving a long streak of gold through the chaotic void.
"So fast… at this rate, we'll reach the Fifth World Domain in under ten days," Lin Moyu observed as Xiao Peng streaked by, noticing the surrounding space was unchanged no twisting or folding, just pure speed.
Speed in chaos has an upper limit; to exceed it, one must manipulate space itself, as Perfection experts do by warping or creating passages it's not about their bodily speed.
But Xiao Peng was different; he'd reached chaos' very speed limit any further, and he'd surpass it.
Back then, the Golden Winged Peng exceeded such limits; by current standards, it meant standing above the rules true quasi Supreme.
Little Tree said, "The Peng's speed was once many times faster than this."
Chaos Child commented, "He relied on that speed to stir up trouble and got surrounded and killed for it."
Little Tree said, "Such is his nature hopefully this one won't repeat it."
Overhearing, Xiao Peng transmitted, "I'm quite obedient."
Ten days later, Lin Moyu reached the location of his Fifth World Domain.
The domain was shrouded in chaotic qi and concealment arrays strong cultivators could walk right by and still not find it.
Yet now Lin Moyu spotted others nearby.
Creatures were prowling close a whole group, clearly searching for something.
They moved in their true forms rather than humanoid, a rarity in the Central Domain where most races take human appearance, a custom shaped by ages of human rule.
So Lin Moyu immediately recognized these were the Sharp Gold Beasts from the texts about Spirit Miao Domain.
Long ago, Spirit Miao cultivators created time space channels to control various worlds those worlds were from different domains.
Eventually, though, they angered a certain world's power, who retaliated and all but destroyed the Spirit Miao Domain.
Now, these creatures from an unknown domain had tracked its remnants down likely led by lingering aura within the domain.
"These guys really hold a grudge!" Lin Moyu mused, bemused they'd remembered for so long who knew what else he might not know.
No matter their presence meant he could sever Spirit Miao Domain's karma.
If they could hunt him down, he could repay the favor.
These chaos Minor and Great Completion realm beasts meant nothing to him.
Xiao Peng, as gold light, zoomed toward them; the beasts noticed Lin Moyu, and one growled, "Sharp Gold Beasts are working here outsiders, leave."
He didn't finish speaking before a gold flash ripped through the void and pierced his head.
Words were pointless; his body shattered, and his soul vanished a chaos Minor realm beast dead.
Lin Moyu said icily, "What are you? Speaking to me that way."
His action and tone set the beasts raging.
"Courting death!"
Several Sharp Gold Beasts in Great Completion form lunged.
They were bold because Lin Moyu seemed to be only chaos Minor realm, and Xiao Peng's aura was strange using Primordial Qi, Xiao Peng's powers were all battle, not reflected in surface rank.
To others, Xiao Peng was only chaos Great Completion unless he released his might, that's all others perceived.
Thus, a Great Completion beast and a Minor realm human dared kill their kin, which the Sharp Gold Beasts saw as flagrant outrage.
The Sharp Gold Beasts all looked peculiar, but each bore a long, sharp golden horn on the forehead their mark.
Lin Moyu had no interest in this race. "Kill them all, leave none," he ordered Xiao Peng.
Xiao Peng was itching for a fight after awakening ninety percent of his bloodline, he had no sense of his own true combat power.
Perfect timing he could use them for a test.
He accelerated dramatically, now easily reaching chaos' max speed.
In a blink, Xiao Peng, as golden light, darted among the beasts before they could even respond.
Moments later, Sharp Gold Beasts in Great Completion form burst with gold light their bodies shattered, souls gone.
Xiao Peng killed them so fast they never realized how he attacked.
He then shot off towards the rest the Minor realm beasts wouldn't be spared.
Lin Moyu had commanded: leave none alive.
