Hosu burned long into the night. Sirens wailed through smoke, the chaos of Nomu attacks echoing down empty streets.
By the time police and heroes swarmed the back alley, the golden chains that had pinned Stain had long since faded, dissolving into harmless sparks moments after Aiden's departure.
Stain, semi-conscious but unbroken, sat slumped against a wall—his weapons scattered. Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida stood close by, battered but alive, while Native rested on a stretcher under careful treatment.
Manual and Endeavor arrived first, followed by Detective Tsukauchi and the stern, dog-like officer, already bristling with frustration.
"Hero Killer Stain," Tsukauchi muttered, kneeling beside him. "Alive… barely."
The canine officer's ears twitched as he looked at the students. "Which one of you defeated him."
Midoriya raised a hand nervously. "it's Aiden Blaze… from our class."
The officer's eyes narrowed. "So, another student was here."
Todoroki nodded. "He showed up before I arrived then Restrained Stain, healed us, then left."
"Left?" the officer barked. "In the middle of a crime scene?"
Iida's voice was quiet, but steady. "He didn't want to argue with police as...for credit " he stop speaking as he realise the real reason for him to run away it wasn't because he didn't want the credit because he didn't want the trouble.
That made the officer's fur bristle. "Credit? This isn't a game. We need full reports, witnesses. Instead, we get half a story and chains that disappear like smoke."
Tsukauchi intervened calmly. "Regardless, the Hero Killer is in custody thanks to their teamwork."
As Stain stirred, his eyes burned with fanatical fire. When they tried to lift him into custody, he snarled and launched into his infamous speech—declaring most heroes frauds, calling only All Might worthy.
The entire alley fell silent, listening. Officers recorded every word, and even Endeavor paused, jaw tight.
Despite his injuries, Stain's willpower was suffocating. A single glare froze nearby Nomu until they collapsed, motionless. Heroes later reported that his presence alone felt like an iron grip on their throats.
When it was over and Stain finally sedated, the canine officer growled under his breath:
"That kid, Blaze… not obedient. Avoids procedure. Now we've got a hero killer, half the city in flames, and a student running his own operation."
Tsukauchi sighed. "We'll handle it. I'll set up a meeting tomorrow."
Good correction—you're absolutely right. At this point in the MHA timeline (post-Hosu, pre-dorm system), **students return to their homes or hero agencies**, not staying overnight at UA.
Hero Agency – Late Night
Great Sage's voice echoed in Aiden's mind as he sat by the window of the hero agency's guest room. The golden helmet rested quietly on the desk, faintly humming with energy.
> "Police have captured Stain. His speech was recorded and is already spreading across networks. Expect an official inquiry. Authorities are displeased."
Aiden smirked faintly, leaning back in his chair. "let them be displeased for us Authorities mean nothing."
Through the glass, the city of Hosu still glowed with emergency lights—red and blue flickering against the night sky. The chaos was calming, but Aiden knew tomorrow would bring fresh trouble… and likely a visit from some very annoyed officers.
In the next room, Mt. Lady was still basking in her "victory," talking about trending hashtags and interview request as she Was scrolling through a flood of new messages on her phone. Notifications popped nonstop—news outlets, fan comments, and interview requests—but one message stood out, marked urgent.
She tapped it open, reading aloud to herself:
> "Report to Hosu Police Station with Aiden Blaze first thing in the morning. Mandatory questioning regarding Hero Killer incident."
Mt. Lady blinked, confused.
> "What? Mandatory? Since when do *I* play escort for interns?"
She frowned, leaning back against the headboard. It wasn't like she didn't know why—they clearly wanted answers about Blaze. But the tone of the message rubbed her the wrong way.
With a sigh, she typed a short acknowledgment:
*"Fine. I'll bring him."*
Setting the phone aside, she muttered to herself, "This kid better not make me look like an idiot tomorrow…"
Next morning Mt. Lady waited near the front doors, already suited up, scrolling through social media posts praising her She glanced at her phone again— another message from the police.
Finally, Aiden walked in, sipping tea as if nothing was happening.
Mt. Lady crossed her arms. "We need to go. Police want you at the station. Now."
Aiden sipped quietly, not even breaking stride, "No."
She blinked. "What do you mean 'no'? This isn't optional—they sent me a *mandatory order*."
"And I'm *mandatory* refusing," Aiden said flatly.
Mt. Lady groaned, dragging a hand down her face.
"You're seriously going to make me drag you there?"
"You could try," Aiden replied with a faint smirk, "but I need to remind you I am from stronger than you."
Her phone buzzed again. Mt. Lady glanced down, eyes narrowing at the new message from the police:
*"If he refuses to come willingly, we'll have to blacklist him. No hero license."*
She let out a long sigh and turned the screen toward Aiden.
"Look," she said, voice edged with frustration. "If you don't come with me, they're threatening to blacklist you. No more hero career."
Aiden calmly set his cup down, unfazed. "If I can't be a hero, I can always try being a villain. Saves me the exam, and honestly…" He gave a lazy shrug. "…there's not much difference."
Mt. Lady blinked, stunned. "How can you say there's no difference between a villain and a hero?"
Aiden met her gaze, tone quiet but certain. "Because to one person, a hero is a savior… and to another, that same hero is the villain. It's just perspective."
Mt. Lady's lips parted slightly, but no words came. For once, the usually loud and confident pro-hero was left without a comeback.
Author's Note:
Finally had time to write this chapter.
this novel isn't in high demand and I've even considered restarting it with the same character in a new story. But with multiple projects—Ghost Rider in DxD, Ben 10 in Marvel, and my main fic TPM (the only one currently getting some financial support)—it's tough to balance everything.
I would try to write this novel in the extra time I can manage if you have better suggestion you can put it as someone who cannot work due to medical conditions I really need to find a income source.
