In one part of the battlefield, Deidara was launching his explosive spiders left and right while flying on a giant clay owl. A huge grin spread across his face.
A single clay spider could take out a Marine in less than a second, and Deidara launched dozens in seconds.
Meanwhile, on the ground, the Marines were trying to take Deidara down with their firearms; they were failing.
-"What the hell are you doing? Take that thing down!"-
That order was given by Vice Admiral Onigumo. He is a tall, strong man with an impassive face and narrowed eyes. His hair is long and brown, and his head is protected by a war helmet with a red plume and a small, traditional Japanese dragon on the front. He wears the typical Marine coat draped over his shoulders, with a purple-striped insignia on the left side of it. Under the coat, he wears a gray suit and a dark green shirt adorned with a silver tie.
-"W-We can't, Vice Admiral Onigumo!"-
A Marine responded nervously while pointing his weapon at Deidara. He spoke carefully, familiar with the Vice Admiral's temper.
-"You're a bunch of useless people!"- Onigumo shouted at the cowering Marine. -"I'll take care of this!"-
-"Onigumo, wait! We don't know what our enemy is capable of!"-
The person who stopped him was Vice Admiral Strawberry. He is a straight man with an elongated, upturned head. He has closed eyes, hairy skin, and a long beard. He wears the coat that identified him as a high-ranking Marine, draped over his shoulders like a cape. Underneath it, he wears an aquamarine jacket, followed by an unbuttoned shirt with matching pants and a rope ornament on his chest.
-"Strawberry is right. We can't be complacent."-
That's what Vice Admiral Cumil said. He's a tall man with long blond hair, though with a bald spot in the middle of his head. He also has a blond mustache and thick lips. He's dressed in the official Navy cape, a green shirt, and a dark tie. His jacket and pants are pink. At his waist, he carries two swords.
-"Do whatever you want!"- Onigumo shouted sharply. -"I'll take care of eliminating that evil!"-
Then suddenly, Onigumo's body began to change. From the back of his hair, three pairs of long, giant, black spider legs formed, accompanied by a giant torso of the same animal growing from his back. Each leg carried a sword; for a total of eight if you count the one Onigumo was holding.
-"I'll finish this quickly!"-
Onigumo shouted, then jumped up and, surprisingly, began to jump in the air as if he were solid.
In just seconds, Onigumo shot up and reached the giant owl, standing face to face with Deidara.
-"Die!"
-"!?"-
Then, in a single motion, Onigumo plunged his eight swords into the surprised Deidara's torso.
Onigumo smiled at this, but that smile disappeared when Deidara smiled back. Then, slowly, his face turned pale as Deidara's body began to swell and light up.
Then, Deidara's body exploded...
*BOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!*
Literally, the entire sky above Marineford lit up with the massive explosion. The island shook, and the winds whipped violently for a few seconds after the explosion. At the end of the explosion, only a large cloud of dust remained.
Without a doubt, that was a clay clone, not the real Deidara. The clone and the giant owl must have been brimming with chakra to be able to generate such an explosion.
The Marines and Pirates stared, their mouths wide open. Then something quickly shot out of the dust cloud like a missile.
What emerged from the dust quickly descended toward Strawberry and Cumil. Many Marines had to step aside to avoid what fell, which then impacted the ground, creating a sizable crater.
When they looked closely, they were shocked to see that what had fallen was a severely injured Onigumo. His body was completely burned, and his arms and legs were broken in several places.
A Marine quickly went to check on him. Surprisingly, he was still alive, but surely his body never recovers from that.
Both Vice Admirals then turned their gaze from their incapacitated comrade to look at someone who had suddenly appeared on the scene.
-"Stop right there!"-
Cumil shouted at that person, who was now being pointed at by several firearms. They didn't know who it was, but he was wearing a black cloak with red clouds, like the people who came with the Shinobi no Kami.
-"Hn, didn't you find it beautiful?"- That person, none other than Deidara, said with a smile. -"That was one of my finest works."-
The Marines didn't even bother to listen to him; they just fired a volley of bullets that quickly reached his body, but they were surprised to see how they passed through without causing any damage. The bullets passed through his body as if it were something soft; the places where the holes had been turned white.
-"What...?"-
-"Is this the power of an Akuma No Mi Logia...?"-
Cumil was surprised, while Strawberry wondered one of the reasons why the bullets didn't harm their enemy.
-"You're not that wrong!"-
Deidara told them as his hands formed the Tiger Seal. Unbeknownst to the Marines, clay spiders were clinging to his back.
-"Katsu!"-
Then the spiders glowed and engulfed the Marines in powerful explosions, which were then accompanied by their screams. The only ones who survived were the Vice Admirals, who had quickly disappeared from their positions, leaving their jackets where the clay spiders had been.
Both Vice Admirals then appeared a few meters in front of Deidara.
-"Oh, you must be the strongest dogs,"- Deidara smiled at them both. -"Let me introduce myself; I'm Deidara of the Akatsuki Pirates. Now let's see if you can survive my art."-
He then extended both arms to his sides. His arms then turned into a white substance, which then quickly extended to form two giant, long-tailed dragons on each side.
That power was the ability of the Akuma No Mi that Deidara consumed: the [Nendo Nendo No Mi], a Logia-type Akuma No Mi that allows the user to produce, manipulate, and transform into clay at will, thus turning them into a Nendo Ningen.
This was a perfect Akuma No Mi for Deidara, even more so when he used his chakra to turn the clay he generated into [Kibaku Nendo]. With this ability, Deidara could use his attacks without worrying about running out of clay.
-"Now marvel!"-
With Deidara's shout, both dragons opened their mouths, and hundreds of clay figures of different shapes shot out toward the two Vice Admirals. Figures in the shapes of insects and spiders quickly traveled across the ground; figures of snakes and centipedes swiftly burrowed down and began traveling underground; and a flock of clay birds headed to attack from above.
Both Vice Admirals also moved to attack. Strawberry grabbed his signature swords and pounced, leaping into the air toward the group of clay birds flying in his direction.
With a blinding movement, Strawberry cut down a dozen clay birds in the vicinity. Unfortunately, that didn't help, as the birds engulfed him in powerful explosions.
Cumil, meanwhile, decided to attack from the ground, running at blinding speeds toward Deidara. Unfortunately, several snakes and centipedes burst out of the ground where he stepped and covered him with powerful explosions.
Both survived by coating their bodies with [Busoshoku Haki] and using a technique that hardened their muscles to the level of iron; although they did receive considerable damage from the chakra-enhanced explosions.
At that moment, the Vice Admirals quickly understood that they weren't supposed to have any contact with the clay figures.
Deidara sneered. -"Hm, is that all you can do?!"-
Cumil frowned, then decided to go all out. He disappeared and in the blink of an eye appeared behind Deidara, ready to strike him with his [Haki]-enshrouded right fist.
Unfortunately, Deidara saw him coming and quickly leaped forward, narrowly dodging the blow.
-"Nice try!"- Deidara smiled and quickly turned around to face Cumil. He extended both hands toward the Vice Admiral. -"Witness my new work! [Kibaku Nendo: Kōsoku]!"-
Long, thick clay ropes formed from his hands, quickly wrapping themselves tightly around the unsuspecting Cumil.
-"This won't stop me!"-
Cumil didn't give up. He began to use his superhuman strength to try to break the ropes.
Deidara smiled at him. -"It seems you're forgetting something!"-
Suddenly, his entire body sank into the ground, then disappeared; all due to the [Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu]. He disappeared at the opportune moment to dodge a double slash from behind by Strawberry.
Less than a second after that, Cumil felt something else engulf his upper and lower body. At that moment, he remembered something important.
-(The Dragons!)-
During his attack, he forgot that Deidara was sandwiched between two large clay dragons, which had now bitten him from both sides.
Then a scream was heard from above. -"Katsu!"-
Then a massive explosion completely engulfed Cumil. Winds whipped violently, and the earth rose from the ground in the form of debris due to the explosion; Even Strawberry had to cover himself with one hand and use the other to plant his sword in the ground so the wind wouldn't blow him away. After a few seconds, the explosion ceased, leaving a gigantic crater and a thick curtain of dust.
-"Cumil!"-
Strawberry shouted as he looked at the site of the explosion with a worried expression.
When the dust dispersed, a badly injured Cumil could be seen kneeling on the ground, holding himself up with one hand. His clothes, skin, and hair were nearly charred with severe burns. If it weren't for his [Haki] and his strengthening technique, he would surely be just like Onigumo.
-"They sure are tough!"- a voice shouted from above. When both Vice Admirals looked up, they could see Deidara flying on a giant clay bird. -"Let's see how long they can hold out! [Kibaku Nendo: Gun]!"-
Deidara then extended both hands to his sides, where large amounts of clay began to flow out. The clay split into large pieces as it fell to the ground, surrounding both Vice Admirals. The pieces of clay rose up and took the perfect shape of Deidara.
In less than a second, Strawberry and Cumil were surrounded by an army of Deidaras; they were also joined by the birds, spiders, snakes, and centipedes left over from the previous attack.
Cumil stood up with difficulty. -"Th-This is getting difficult."-
-"No matter what we do, they'll explode,"- Strawberry muttered as he readied his two swords. He looked at the clones around him, who were looking at him mockingly. -"There's only one way to end this."-
He then looked up at the real Deidara flying. He knew the only way to end this was to finish off the culprit.
Strawberry then began leaping through the air at blinding speeds toward Deidara.
Cumil, despite how injured he was, decided to do the same, but stopped when he was suddenly surrounded by five Deidara clones. He then coated his fists with [Haki] and prepared for a very tough fight.
Strawberry, meanwhile, sped toward Deidara, dodging any clay birds that tried to stop him. In mid-stride, he kicked Deidara with his right leg, from which a giant blade of compressed air erupted.
Deidara leaped from the giant bird, which was soon perfectly sliced in two by the air blade. In the midst of his fall, Deidara used his power to transform what remained of the giant bird into hundreds of small clay birds, which plummeted toward Strawberry.
Said Vice Admiral disappeared in a burst of speed to avoid the birds, reappearing on the ground. When he was there, he noticed dozens of Deidara clones surrounding him.
Strawberry prepared to escape, but suddenly something happened...
-"!?"-
Strawberry was startled when two clay snakes emerged from the ground beneath his feet and grabbed him by the legs. He was about to use his swords to cut the snakes and escape quickly before they exploded, but two clay clones grabbed him by both arms.
Then, a second later, Strawberry could see what appeared to be the real Deidara, standing in front of him, many meters away, with a mocking smile.
-"Katsu!"-
Then the explosion engulfed the Vice Admiral. Both the snakes and the two clones had enough chakra to generate a gigantic and powerful explosion. A few seconds later, all that remained was a gigantic crater and a dense curtain of dust.
Cumil, who had evaded the clay dolls as best he could in his condition, looked worried as his fellow Vice Admiral fell into their enemy's trap.
When the dust cleared, a badly injured Strawberry could be seen.
-"Ugh!"-
Strawberry grunted in pain as he tried to stay on his feet. He couldn't understand how those explosions could cause so much damage, even though he used [Haki] to protect himself.
Cumil quickly appeared at his side to help him stay on his feet.
-"This isn't going well at all."-
-"Y-Yes,"- Strawberry agreed. -"He left us in this state... And we couldn't even touch him."-
-"He possesses a strange power... The ability to manipulate a type of clay that explodes..."- Cumil frowned, then looked at the grinning Deidara in front of him. -"Who the hell is this guy...?"-
-"Vice Admirals!"-
Both Vice Admirals heard a shout behind them; there they could see a large group of Marines running towards them.
-"Get out of here!"- Cumil shouted at the Marines. -"He's a dangerous enemy!"-
-"Dangerous, you say?"- Deidara spoke, drawing the attention of the Vice Admirals and Marines. -"I'm much more than that."-
Everyone there noticed that a sea of clay was pouring out of the soles of his feet, covering the entire ground behind him. From that clay, hundreds of clay clones began to form, dozens of giant dragons, and thousands of puppets of all sizes, snakes, centipedes, spiders, and birds.
The Marines were a little frightened as they watched this explosive army form in just seconds.
-"It seems you don't understand how dangerous my crewmates and I are..."- Deidara spoke to them with a mocking smile. -"If it weren't for my Captain ordering me to restrain myself... This island and all of you would be nothing but rubble floating in the sea because of my beautiful art."-
The Marines were frightened, and the Vice Admirals were alarmed to hear that. Their enemy had simply declared that he could destroy Marineford on his own; and after seeing his demonstration with the explosives, they couldn't help but believe him.
-"Now..."- Deidara smiled at the frightened Marines as his thousands of clay puppets advanced menacingly. -"Shall we continue?"-
Just as he said that, the first clay figures to move were the hundreds of birds, which flew swiftly toward the unsuspecting group of Marines, ignoring the Vice Admirals. Once within attack range, the birds exploded, engulfing the Marines in a sphere of flame and ash.
Strawberry and Cumil were horrified to see the Marines rapidly falling from the explosions. They quickly jumped back to avoid the assault of two clay clones. Both Vice Admirals may have been badly injured, but they were still elite Marines; for now, nothing would stop them from continuing to fight.
Once at a safe distance, Strawberry took the opportunity to perform a side kick in the air, generating a long blade of compressed air, which quickly traveled and cut the clones in half.
But instead of exploding, as Strawberry expected, the two clones dissolved into hundreds of small clay spiders, which quickly ran across the ground toward the Vice Admirals, along with the other clay dolls created earlier.
Cumil then tried again to stop all this by attacking Deidara directly. He quickly began jumping through the air, nimbly avoiding the clay dolls, both aerial and ground, to head straight for Deidara.
But just meters from his target, a gigantic clay dragon appeared in front of Cumil. The dragon opened its gigantic snout and expelled a wave of new clay birds toward the Vice Admiral.
-"Tsk!"-
Cumil clicked his tongue in annoyance at the attack, then began to leap upwards in the air, narrowly avoiding the clay birds. Unfortunately, the birds changed their trajectory to now rise and chase the Vice Admiral.
-"Damn!"-
Cumil cursed as he was relentlessly pursued in the air by hundreds of explosive clay birds.
Meanwhile, Strawberry continued to avoid the clones' and dolls' sneak attacks as best he could to prevent them from exploding.
Then, suddenly, the Vice Admiral was surrounded by at least a dozen clay clones. Strawberry tried to evade them again, but unfortunately, just as he moved, he stepped on a clay centipede buried in the ground, generating an explosion that lifted him several meters upwards.
The good thing was that Strawberry was able to protect himself mostly with [Busoshoku Haki] and by hardening his body.
-"!!?"-
Strawberry flinched in midair as four of the twelve clay clones appeared around him and grabbed him by the arms and legs. The clones then pulled the Vice Admiral back to the ground.
-"Ugh!"-
Strawberry grunted as his body hit the ground hard, still unchained by the clones. He quickly struggled in an attempt to free himself, but then the rest of the dozen clones joined in to grab him.
-"Strawberry!"-
Cumil cried out in concern, stopping his midair walk to see his fellow Vice Admiral being grabbed by explosive clones. He wanted to go help him, but his carelessness caused the clay birds he was fleeing from to cling to his body.
Knowing how dangerous the clay birds were, Cumil desperately began to pull it off his body. In the process, he noticed the Clay Dragon from before hovering above him, which then began to fall on top of him. Cumil could do nothing to prevent the dragon from crashing into him, sending him tumbling to the ground, still with the gigantic creature on his body.
-"Hm, you should be grateful!"- Deidara smiled at the sight of the two trapped Vice Admirals. -"You're about to see the most beautiful thing you've ever seen!"-
Just as he said that, the clones and dolls that had Strawberry and Cumil trapped, respectively, began to glow dangerously, frightening both Vice Admirals.
-"After all..."-
*BOOOOOMMMMM!*
*BOOOOOMMMMM!*
-"Art is an explosion!"-
Deidara smiled widely as he saw the two gigantic, bright explosions in front of him that engulfed both Vice Admirals.
The large groups of Marines who had been heading there as support froze in horror at the sight of such a catastrophic scene.
Then the explosions continued to be heard for the rest of the war...

...
....
....
Elsewhere on the battlefield, Sasori was having his own battle.
He didn't even have to move as the Marines fell around him due to his puppets' devastating attacks. The Sandaime Kazekage's puppet flew through the sky while attacking the Marines with sharp iron sand spikes. The Hiruko puppet, meanwhile, moved across the ground at blinding speeds while slashing at the Marines with its tail.
Sasori watched everything in boredom. He only had to move his fingers for his puppets to do the rest of the work.
-"PX-10, destroy that thing!"-
Sasori then witnessed an attack in the form of a yellow beam of light heading toward the Sandaime Kazekage's puppet. Sasori quickly reacted and moved the puppet away from the attack.
When Sasori looked at the source of the attack, he could see about twenty identical beings. They are enormous men, 689 cm tall. They also have long, protruding chins. Their hair is long and curly, and includes a pair of round protrusions resembling bear ears. They wear glasses with clear mirrored lenses. They wear black jackets containing a large white design resembling a target crosshair; there are also several white paw prints lining the bottom hem of their coats. They also wear dark blue pants with brown markings and white winter hats.
Unknown to Sasori, these men are in fact human weapons called Pacifistas, created by Dr. Vegapunk, the Navy's chief scientist.
At the head of that group is another person. He is a large man, with fair skin and a stocky build, similar to that of a sumo wrestler. He has a large scar extending from his left eye to the left corner of his mouth. His attire consists of a shirt that resembles a giant brown bib or apron. He carried a huge double-edged axe, as tall as him and of equal size, which he rested on his right shoulder. This person's name is Sentomaru.
Then three other people appeared. They appeared above Hiruko with their swords ready. Judging by their clothing, they appeared to be Vice Admirals. They were Vice Admiral Momonga, Vice Admiral Doberman, and Vice Admiral Yamakaji.
Vice Admiral Momonga is a tall, well-built man with extravagant hair and a mustache, both wine-red. He wears the standard Navy uniform: a jacket with shoulder pads and a blue shirt, with a light blue tie underneath.
Vice Admiral Doberman is a man with a brown hair and mustache. His face is covered in X-shaped scars. He is dressed in a Corinthian Navy cape over a jacket and, like many others, wears a Navy cap.
Vice Admiral Yamakaji is a very smiling man; he is smoking a cigar and has his eyes closed. He wore a yellow shirt with red dots and a brown suit with the Navy's insignia cape and a cap common among Marines.
The three Vice Admirals readied their swords to attack Hiruko. Sasori quickly had him use his metallic tail to intercept the three swords, then had him push the three Marines away and quickly bring him to his side. The Vice Admirals, meanwhile, stood by Sentomaru's side.
It wasn't difficult for Sasori to understand that those in front of him wouldn't be defeated as easily as the other Marines.
-"You're finishing, criminal!"- Doberman yelled at him. -"You're outnumbered!"-
-"I don't care about that,"- Sasori declared calmly, before making his next move. He quickly had the Sandaime Kazekage puppet draw all the swords, sabers, and katanas of the fallen Marines around it. -"I've defeated armies with fewer."-
Then he had his puppet launch the wide array of weapons like missiles at his new opponents. Meanwhile, he quickly sent Hiruko to attack from below.
The three Vice Admirals jumped down to take care of the weapons. Sentomaru, meanwhile, ordered the Pacifistas to take care of Hiruko.
The three Marines deflected all the weapons with a single swing of their own swords; each weapon sent by the puppet was sent flying away from them. They then began to jump in the air and quickly headed toward the Sandaime Kazekage's puppet.
Sasori wasn't going to leave it like that. -"[Satetsu Shigure]"-
He had the puppet open its mouth, where a dense mist of iron sand erupted, which then formed wings behind the puppet. The iron sand then hardened into microscopic, bullet-like grains.
Those bullets traveled toward the Vice Admirals at speeds almost impossible to see. The same repulsive forces of magnetism increased the speed of the bullets once they were fired. Furthermore, some of the bullets were shaped like sharp needles to increase their ability to injure or kill the enemy. Most dangerous was that the iron sand used was coated with a poison made by Sasori.
The Vice Admirals were alarmed to see the bullets hurtling toward them. They readied their swords and began deflecting the bullets as best they could as they came.
At the same time, Sasori made sure Hiruko dodged the lasers the Pacifistas were launching at her as quickly as possible. The puppet then arrived in front of Sentomaru with its metal tail ready.
But Sentomaru saw this coming. He quickly swung his axe, and he used it as a shield to intercept the attack.
-"PX-11, destroy it!"-
The Pacifist then prepared to carry out Sentomaru's command. He pointed his right hand at Hiruko and fired a powerful laser beam at him.
The attack completely hit Hiruko, sending him flying away with an explosion, but Sentomaru was surprised to see the puppet completely unharmed.
-"What the!?"-
-"Yeah, it won't be easy to destroy them,"-
Sasori declared with a smile. The Yōsogakure no Sato puppets were not only technologically advanced and made from a metal alloy stronger than steel, but they also had many chakra- and magic-based enhancements.
Thanks to the Uzumaki Clan's knowledge of [Fūinjutsu], the puppets have numerous seals that harden them and help them carry numerous hidden weapons. And because of their alliances with the Norse Pantheon and the Celtic-Irish Pantheon, they are endowed with various magical knowledge; thanks to this, the puppets are equipped with runes and enchantments.
Even the most powerful wizard of Yōsogakure No Sato, Harry Potter Uzumaki, helped by adding his own magical knowledge to enhance the puppets.
Simply put, the puppets of Yōsogakure No Sato were difficult to destroy.
-"My turn."-
Sasori then had Hiruko open her mouth, where a missile shot out and quickly took off toward the Pacifista who attacked him.
The missile made contact and exploded. The explosion was so large that it caused Sentomaru to flinch away from harm's way. The blast was powerful as it was enhanced with chakra.
When the smoke from the explosion cleared, only several metal fragments and blood could be seen where the Pacifista had been.
-"What...?"-
Sentomaru couldn't believe what he saw. One of the Pacifistas, who are supposed to be very durable, was completely destroyed by a single missile.
Meanwhile, Sasori looked at the metal pieces with a raised eyebrow.
-"I see,"- Sasori muttered. -"They're some kind of robots. Maybe I should steal some pieces to compare our technologies."-
Meanwhile, in the air, the Vice Admirals continued to dodge the iron sand bullets that kept coming.
-"AHG!"-
Then suddenly, Vice Admiral Doberman grunted in pain as one of the bullets hit his right shoulder. That moment of distraction caused other bullets to hit his legs, arms, and torso.
Doberman then fell to the ground, weakly on his feet, trying to cover his most fatal wounds. The good news was that he was fast enough to strengthen his body and cover it with [Haki] to prevent the bullets from passing through completely. Unfortunately, the bullets were coated with Sasori's potent poison, which wouldn't take long to take effect.
-"Doberman!"-
Momonga cried out in concern, before he and Yamakaji quickly moved away from the puppet's attacks so they could help their wounded comrade on the ground.
-"That's one less,"-
Sasori said as he had his puppets stand next to each other. Although Doberman had survived the iron sand bullets, he knew he would perish from the poison at any moment.
-"Bastard!"- Doberman yelled at him with a murderous glare after hearing what he said. -"You haven't defeated me yet!"-
-"Yes, I have,"- Sasori commented as if it were obvious. -"You're just delaying the inevitable,"-
Doberman growled furiously. -"You'll see!"-
Then he lunged blindingly at Sasori with his sword ready, completely ignoring his injuries.
-"Doberman, no!"-
Yamakaji shouted in an attempt to stop him, but Doberman was already in front of Sasori with his sword ready.
-"Die!"-
Doberman yelled as he prepared to attack the calm Sasori.
Then something strange happened. Before Doberman could attack, Sasori's eyes lit up red.
-"[Kōsen]"-
What happened next shocked those present. A pair of thin, straight, red beams shot out of Sasori's eyes and pierced Doberman's chest cleanly.
-"Was that a laser beam?!"-
Sentomaru cried out in surprise, recognizing the attack, as it was the same thing the Pacifistas could do; though Sasori's seemed to be different.
-"Ugh!"-
Doberman grunted in pain as blood spewed from his mouth. Then, in a flash, he dropped his sword, his eyes rolling back in his head, and then he fell to the ground, completely defeated.
The Marines stared in shock at the fallen Vice Admiral, then looked back at Sasori.
-"What the hell...?"- Momonga muttered, shocked by what Sasori had done. -"How did you do that?"-
Sasori smiled. -"That's not the only thing I can do."-
Then those present were surprised to see Sasori's shoulders open like a compartment, from which a small missile emerged in each.
The missiles ignited and quickly flew toward the Marine group.
Sentomaru and the Vice Admirals quickly disappeared just in time to dodge the two missiles, which hit and destroyed two Pacifistas in the process, while the others moved away from the explosion.
The Marines appeared a few meters away from the explosion. They stared in surprise at the destruction the missiles caused; they were lucky to be able to dodge the attack. Then they looked at Sasori, to witness how his body began to change.
His legs, arms, and torso began to change, forming several metallic pieces like some kind of advanced battle armor. The Marines were surprised to see such a change.
Sasori's transformation is due to the power of his Akuma No Mi: the [Kikai Kikai No Mi], a Paramecia-type Akuma No Mi, which allows the user to transform their body into any type of machine, turning it into a Kikai Ningen.
It's an Akuma No Mi powered by the user's knowledge; perfect for Sasori, who was an expert in various advanced weaponry.
-"It's time to get to the end of the show,"-
Sasori said as he made a Summoning Scroll appear in his hand, which he then unrolled, drawing out everything inside in multiple bursts of smoke.
When the smoke dispersed, the Marines turned pale at what appeared...
Puppets... More than a hundred robotic puppets appeared around Sasori, wearing red cloaks. In just seconds, an army of highly equipped robots appeared at the front of the Marine group. But what caught the group's attention the most, and at the same time, what intimidated them the most, was the gigantic being that appeared next to the Puppets. The being was even larger than the Pacifists and resembled a giant stone statue that looked similar to a gargoyle.
-"Do you like it?"- Sasori asked them with a smile, seeing them looking at his strongest puppet. -"It's my biggest project."-
That statue is a Gogmagog. Gogmagogs were originally a group of Golems created by the Primordial Gods to be used as mass-produced weapons of destruction. However, the Gogmagogs were eventually abandoned by the Primordial Gods, who deactivated them all and abandoned them in the Dimensional Gap.
Naruto, being one of the few allowed to roam the Dimensional Gap, found many of them while investigating the place. He then collected them all and brought them to Yōsogakure No Sato to learn how they worked.
It was a collaborative effort of several departments to reverse-engineer the golems; one of the departments was the Puppet Research Department.
Sasori was one of the privileged few to be able to research how one worked. And after years of research and development, he was able to replicate some of his advanced technologies and add them to his puppets. Furthermore, he was able to modify the Gogmagog to work and move with chakra threads, making it his strongest puppet; named Gāgoiru.
Sasori then smiled, as a compartment opened in his back, from which hundreds of chakra threads emerged, connecting to all the new puppets, including Hiruko and the Sandaime Kazekage puppet, leaving their hands free.
Each puppet ignited the moment the threads made contact. The Marines were frightened when the hundreds of puppets raised their heads and looked at them with their robotic eyes.
This was Sasori's famous technique: [Aka Higi: Hyakki no Sōen]. And now, thanks to the power of his Akuma No Mi, he could control his puppets more efficiently, and even add more puppets.
-"I don't think I've introduced myself yet. I'm Sasori, the Puppeteer of the Akatsuki Pirates."- Sasori introduced himself with a big, excited smile as his eyes glowed robotically red. -"And it's time to show you the climax of this act."-
Then, without a single gesture, the Puppet Army pounced on their enemies. Several flew toward the Marines like a swarm of killer bees, while puppets like Hiruko and Gagoiru went to attack from the ground.
The Marines quickly prepared for what was coming. Sentomaru was the first to act, ordering all the remaining Pacifistas to attack with their laser beams.
The Pacifistas quickly stood at the front of the field, raised their hands, and fired a series of powerful lasers at the nearest puppets.
The lasers impacted, creating devastation and large explosions upon impact, but unfortunately the puppets continued on their way, completely unharmed by the attack.
Gāgoiru, who was running with quick, powerful steps, was one of the puppets at the front. Being a considerable distance from his enemy, he stopped and raised his right fist toward them, which then erupted from his arm, shooting out like a rocket.
In just seconds, the rocket fist impacted and completely destroyed a nearby Pacifista.
And Gāgoiru didn't stop there. His other hand transformed into a machine gun, firing a burst of powerful, fast-moving bullets, which cleanly pierced another Pacifista, completely destroying it. This was the ability of Gāgoiru and the Gogmagog Golems; the ability to transform parts of their bodies into weapons, even those of the modern era.
-"What?!"-
Sentomaru cried out in surprise at this, then suddenly raised his axe to intercept the attacks of three puppets, each with long swords protruding from their wrists.
Then Sentomaru looked around; there he noticed he was surrounded by more than a dozen puppets. And he wasn't the only one; the two Vice Admirals and several Pacifists were surrounded by several puppets.
Sentomaru grunted. -"This has gotten complicated."-
Then he prepared to defend himself from the other puppets that rushed at him...
The Vice Admirals also had their own puppet armies to deal with. The least they could do was dodge the attacks as best they could, since the puppets were durable enough to withstand their attacks. The only advantage they could notice was that the puppets seemed to have no good coordination between them.
-"We have to do something to stop these things!"-
Momonga shouted to his fellow Vice Admiral as he intercepted a puppet's fist with his sword, then disappeared in a blur of speed to dodge another puppet's sword.
-"I know,"- Yamakaji said as he intercepted the swords of two puppets. He no longer had that smile that was always present on his face. -"If we keep this up, these machines will eventually crush us."-
-"Maybe if we stop that guy, then maybe they'll stop."-
-"Maybe you're right. He's obviously controlling them somehow,"- Yamakaji said, then quickly had an idea. -"I'll stop them! You go after him!"-
-"Good!"-
Without hesitation, Momonga sped away towards Sasori, leaving Yamakaji to deal with the puppets. It was risky, but he knew it was the only chance to stop that unstoppable machine army.
Momonga skillfully evaded all the puppets in his path. Then, within seconds, the Vice Admiral arrived in front of Sasori; his sword was extended to slash through his opponent's abdomen.
Sasori quickly saw that attack coming. He quickly lowered his right arm, from which an advanced metallic shield extended, which he used to intercept the sword attack.
And it wasn't over yet. Sasori's left arm deformed into different metallic parts, from which a circular saw emerged.
Sasori then attempted to cut Momonga's head off with his saw, but Momonga quickly positioned his [Haki]-clad sword to intercept the saw.
-"Grrr!"-
Momonga grunted as he fought the saw with his sword, refusing to let it go. Unbeknownst to him, Sasori generated a pair of robotic arms beneath his own. Said arms had holes in their palms, from which small bursts of blue energy shot out, impacting Momonga's abdomen.
-"Ugh!"-
Momonga spat out blood as the energy blasts hit his abdomen, which also pushed him several meters away from his enemy. He rolled on the ground for a few seconds, then recovered by slamming his sword into the ground. He then looked where he was wounded, seeing a severe burn.
Sasori then took advantage of the situation. A compartment opened in both shoulders, from which more than a dozen small missiles erupted.
Momonga was alarmed when he looked up and saw a shower of missiles falling towards him. Ignoring the intense pain from the previous attack, Momonga prepared to dodge the missiles, but something stopped him...
-"[Sasori Fukku]"-
-"!?"-
Momonga was startled when a metallic hook shaped like a scorpion claw suddenly shot out of Sasori's right hand and pierced his right ankle. In a flash, he felt his body completely paralyzed. What he didn't know was that the hook injected him with a potent paralyzing poison concocted by Sasori.
It was too late for Momonga then. The paralyzing poison prevented him from dodging the rockets, causing them to hit him instead.
Upon collision, the rockets triggered powerful and gigantic explosions, covering Momonga and the surrounding area for several meters. The ground was torn into pieces of rubble, and a shockwave was generated when the rockets exploded, proving that they were advanced and chakra-enhanced.
-"Momonga!" -
Yamakaji cried out in concern as he watched Momonga fall victim to a devastating attack while he dealt with the puppets. He had cuts and bruises all over his body, proving that the puppets were giving him a tough fight.
When the smoke from the explosion cleared, a wounded Momonga could be seen in the middle of a large crater. His body was charred black, but he was conscious and alive thanks to his hardening and coating it with [Haki].
Yamakaji blindly evaded the puppets as he made his way to his wounded comrade. When he arrived, he helped Momonga get up from the destroyed ground.
-"Th-This guy is a monster,"- Momonga muttered in pain as he struggled to his feet with Yamakaji's help. -"We need to call for reinforcements!"-
-"That would be a waste of time,"- Sasori said as he approached them with a smile. The Vice Admirals just glared at him. -"No matter how many you bring, my puppets will finish them off; just like they did to your friend over there."-
Sasori then lazily pointed behind the Vice Admirals. When Momonga and Yamakaji looked back, they saw a bloodied and battered Sentomaru being grabbed by the neck by Gāgoiru; surrounding him were the remains of the twenty Pacifista units they had brought for this war.
The two couldn't believe what they saw. The most advanced and expensive war machines in the world had been completely destroyed with ease.
-"My Captain forbade me from turning people into puppets,"- Sasori commented as he looked at the fallen Pacifistas. -"But I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I took those robotic parts for study."-
Meanwhile, Hiruko and the Sandaime Kazekage puppet stood on either side of him.
-"But now..."- Sasori looked at the two Vice Admirals with a smile as his robotic red eyes glowed, imitated by his two puppets. -"It's time to get on with the show..."-
Just as he finished those words, several types of advanced weapons appeared in his arms. The two puppets joined forces; Hiruko extended several missiles and blades from his tail, and the Sandaime Kazekage puppet formed two giant masses of iron sand above him.
-"Now..."- Sasori smiled as several puppets surrounded the worried Vice Admirals. -"Let's begin the second act..."-
Then Sasori and his puppets continued rampaging across the battlefield...

Omake: A Butler's Daily Job, Part 2

As the butler of the one and only Uzumaki Family, I had other special jobs besides cleaning and maintaining the house. Another of my many jobs is to take care of three meals a day for all the members of the Uzumaki Mansion.
-"Good morning, Cogman."-
-"Good morning, Lord Naruto."-
The day began with breakfast. The first to wake up was Lord Naruto. He usually woke up at 7 a.m. to eat breakfast and then go perform his duties as Yōsokage; although sometimes he would stay and wake up at 8 or 9 a.m. to eat breakfast with the rest of the family.
Today seemed to be one of the days Lord Naruto would leave for work early.
-"Enjoy, Lord Naruto."-
-"Thank you, Cogman."-
Like every morning, I prepare Lord Naruto a bowl of ramen for breakfast. It's a simple recipe with noodles, eggs, and bacon slices, along with a few seasonings. Still, like a good butler (or cook, at the moment), I make sure the food tastes excellent.
When Lord Naruto was quietly eating breakfast, I would stand behind him silently, waiting for any order.
-"Delicious as always, Cogman. More, please."-
-"Here, Lord Naruto."-
With just that command, in 0.1 seconds I replaced the empty bowl with a new bowl of freshly cooked ramen, accompanied by a new pair of chopsticks. Like a good butler, I couldn't keep Lord Naruto waiting, much less make him eat from the same bowl and with used chopsticks.
I repeated the same process about three more times when Lord Naruto asked for seconds.
-"Another one, Cogman."-
-"I remind you, Lord Naruto, that the Ladies forbade you from eating more than five bowls for breakfast."-
Lord Naruto smiled at me nervously. -"Ah, that's right."-
The Ladies sternly ordered Lord Naruto to eat more than five bowls of ramen for breakfast. They also ordered me not to serve Lord Naruto more than five bowls, no matter how much he begged for more; which happened before.
-"Then I'll take my leave, Cogman."-
-"Have a nice day, Lord Naruto."-
-"See you at lunch."-
Although the job of Yōsokage was a job that lasted several hours at a time, even requiring lunch on the job, Lord Naruto tended to skip work so he could have lunch with the rest of the Uzumaki Family and then return to work a few hours later.
Just as Lord Naruto was about to disappear to go to work, the Ladies came downstairs for breakfast. Along with time to also say goodbye to Lord Naruto.
Like every morning, Lord Naruto and the Ladies said goodbye with a kiss. Then Lord Naruto left for work, and the Ladies began breakfast.
Just as the Ladies sat down at the table, their respective breakfasts appeared in front of them in an instant. As I said before, a good Butler doesn't keep you waiting.
Like Lord Naruto, the Ladies also had favorite breakfasts.
Lady Haku would prefer a fresh fruit salad, composed only of sweet fruits; there must be no bitter fruit in the bowl, or the entire breakfast would be ruined.
-"Delicious as always, Cogman."-
-"Thank you, Lady Haku."-
-"And I can see you added new fruits. What's this red one?"-
-"Pomegranate, Lady Haku. They're sweet and a great source of antioxidants."-
-"Good. They're delicious; keep using them."-
-"As you wish."-
Lady Pakura liked to eat fish-filled onigiri for breakfast, accompanied by miso soup, served at a perfect 75°C. Lady Pakura preferred hot meals.
-"Perfect as always, Cogman."-
-"Thank you, Lady Pakura."-
Lady Guren preferred cold breakfasts like smoothies or juices, accompanied by sweet or savory cookies; depending on the type of smoothie or juice. This morning, I quickly served her a strawberry and banana smoothie, accompanied by homemade oatmeal cookies, bananas, and honey.
-"Delicious, Cogman. I like the touch of honey on the biscuits."-
-"Thank you, Lady Guren."-
Lady Yugito had no preference when it came to breakfast, but there always had to be a glass of warm milk to drink. The breakfast I served her was vanilla biscuits, with a glass of warm milk at the perfect temperature of 36.5°C.
-"Perfect as always, Cogman. Thank you for breakfast."-
-"It was a pleasure, Lady Yugito."-
Lady Fū had Lord Naruto's tastes when it came to ramen, except she preferred vegetables to any kind of meat. Every morning I served her a bowl of ramen with spinach, mushrooms, corn, onions, and other vegetables.
-"Thank you, Cogman. I can see you added new vegetables."-
-"Yes, Lady Fū. It's broccoli; delicious and nutritious if you cook it right."-
-"Good. Let it continue."-
-"As you command."-
And lastly, to Lady Yamato, who prefers classic traditional Japanese breakfasts. I was currently serving her one of her favorite breakfasts: a bowl of hot oden.
-"Fantastic, Cogman! Your oden is always the most delicious!"-
-"Your compliments make me happy, Lady Yamato."-
After serving their respective breakfasts, I waited patiently and silently for the Ladies to finish. The Ladies usually have second breakfasts, unless they have to go out on a mission. As the strongest kunoichi in Yōsogakure No Sato, they were the ones who took on the most dangerous missions, finishing them before the end of the day, arriving just in time for dinner.
After about fifteen minutes, I saw Lady Guren, Lady Yugito, and Lady Fū get up from the table to head to the back of the Mansion. That only meant it was time for the Young Masters to wake up for breakfast.
-"Ugh, why do we have to keep waking up early?"-
-"So we can get used to the schedule and not sleep in like a lazybones like you."-
-"Don't call me lazy, Spoiled Princess."-
-"I'm not spoiled, Dumb Brute!"-
-"I'm not a dumb brute, Spoiled Princess!"-
Like every morning since senior year, the first to appear for breakfast were Young Master Sasuke and Young Mistress Akane; who were, for now, the only children in the Mansion mentally prepared to wake up on their own (even though technically they were only two years old).
Also, like every morning, Young Master Sasuke complained about waking up early, and Young Mistress Akane took advantage of that moment to mock him, starting a sibling argument, where they called each other by their respective nicknames.
This didn't prove that the two didn't love each other. They both loved each other like true siblings, even though they didn't have the same mothers. The friction between the two stemmed from their different personalities. Young Master Sasuke was mischievous and imperious, and Young Mistress Akane was polite and upright; they were clearly polar opposites.
As a good Butler, it was his job to separate them and break up the fight, unless Lady Haku and Lady Pakura were present. It was necessary to stop the fight before it escalated. The last time it wasn't done in time, Yōsogakure No Sato was almost frozen halfway and burned halfway.
That just went to show how powerful they both were at such a young age...
After their fight was stopped, Young Master Sasuke and Young Mistress Akane sat down at the table, followed minutes later by Young Master Akira, Young Master Raiko, and Young Mistress Hanae, who were brought in by their mothers and seated in their respective personalized high chairs. Those chairs were made by me at Lord Naruto's request.
Young Master Akira sat in a baby chair made of gold (that's right, made of pure gold) and decorated with precious gems. Obviously, he had his respective pillows to make him comfortable.
It's worth noting that Young Master Akira loves his chair...
Young Master Raiko sat in a more humble baby chair, made of wood and colored blue, with a cat theme.
While Young Master Hanae sat in a green wooden baby chair, decorated with flowers of all kinds. They are real flowers, and I made sure the flowers never withered. A good Butler must know how to outdo Mother Nature.
After the Young Masters were in their respective places, I began serving their respective breakfasts.
-"Here you are, Young Master Sasuke."-
The first was Young Master Sasuke's breakfast. Like Lord Naruto, Young Master Sasuke has a special preference for ramen. That's why every morning I serve him the same bowl of ramen as Lord Naruto.
The moment I placed the bowl in front of him, he quickly began to devour it excitedly.
Young Master Akane snorted at that. -"Hmph, rude."-
Then Young Master Akane lifted the small, beautifully decorated porcelain teacup that had just appeared in front of her. It was then that I appeared with a teapot and elegantly poured tea into the cup.
This was Young Master Akane's favorite breakfast: a cup of tea with some small sweet snacks. Young Master Akane had a fondness for tea and had actually held very famous tea parties.
Of course, it wasn't just a cup of tea. In the morning for breakfast, Young Master Akane would drink a perfect cup of white tea, using the finest Camellia Sinensis leaves and prepared with specific instructions.
-"Water temperature?"-
-"74°C"-
-"Leaf infusion?"-
-"One teaspoon of leaves per 174 ml of water"-
-"Infusion time?"-
-"9 minutes and 38 seconds"-
-"Good"-
Young Master Akane smiled slightly with satisfaction at my answers, then took a delicate and elegant sip of her tea.
I noticed Young Master Sasuke roll his eyes at the scene.
Then I served Young Master Akira breakfast. Every morning I served him a bowl of colorful cereal I made to sparkle like gems; bright, delicious, and very nutritious, to aid Young Master Akira's growth and development. The cereal came with vanilla yogurt, also made by me. Next, I served Young Master Raiko breakfast. Like Young Master Akira, I served him a bowl of cereal I made, but instead of being colorful and bright, it was shaped like a cat's head. The cereal was accompanied by fresh milk; Young Master Raiko's favorite drink, which he undoubtedly inherited from Lady Yugito.
And finally, I served Young Master Hanae breakfast. From a very young age, Young Master Hanae has shown a great love for all kinds of animals, thus, she strongly disliked meat or any product made by or from an animal. And as a good Steward, I dedicate myself to giving them the foods they desire and providing them with the necessary nutrients and vitamins.
This morning, I served Young Master Hanae a bowl of wheat cereal with almond milk, accompanied by various fruits such as bananas, apples, and so on.
After finishing serving breakfast to the entire family, I stood patiently waiting for them to finish or to ask if they wanted to order more. After the Ladies and Young Masters finished breakfast, everyone went off to do their various activities for the day.
I, on the other hand, still had work to do.
Being the honorable butler of the Uzumaki Family is a full-time job, day in and day out...
