Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Welcome To Hope's Peak Academy.

It's been almost a week since Naruto and Sasuke were teleported into this unknown world by the Sage of Six Paths himself. Naruto and Sasuke were able to understand the ins and outs of this world little by little. Sasuke, being the smarter one, was able to understand some technologies of this world. While it took Naruto days to understand them, because of how difficult they were.

Naruto, Sasuke, and Tengan walked down the empty hallway, heading towards Jin Kirigiri's office. Naruto and Sasuke passed familiar classrooms, some of which were still vacant. Naruto couldn't understand why they remained empty, even though enrollment had already started.

"Wow, I never thought I'd see these classrooms again after all this time," Naruto exclaimed, his face splitting into a wide grin.

"Well, glad to hear that, my boy," Tengan chuckled, a smirk playing on his lips. "These classrooms are guaranteed perfect."

Naruto laughed and replied, "Yeah, I can see that, old gramps."

He paused, curiosity getting the better of him. "By the way, why are these classrooms still empty? I thought enrollment was supposed to start today."

"Tomorrow is the official opening day for the students to come to school," Tengan explained.

Naruto's brow furrowed. "Wait, what? Then why are we here if the opening of classes is tomorrow?"

Tengan raised a finger, his eyes twinkling. "Well, that's because you two are ultimate students. Ultimate students like you are necessary to come before the official opening."

Naruto crossed his arms, muttering under his breath, "Now that's bullshit."

Sasuke, ever the silent observer, remained quiet, listening intently to their conversation.

After a long walk down the hallway, they finally reached Jin Kirigiri's office.

"We're finally here," Tengan announced, approaching the door and pushing it open. He turned to the two boys, his voice firm. "Come on, you two. We mustn't keep Jin waiting."

Naruto nodded eagerly, while Sasuke simply crossed his arms, his expression stoic.

As they entered the office, they found Jin immersed in paperwork. He looked up, noticing their arrival.

Jin looked up from his desk, a hint of surprise flitting across his face. "Ah, Naruto, Sasuke, and Tengan. You've arrived." His voice was calm and measured, as always, but a flicker of curiosity danced in his eyes.

As Naruto saw Jin, he smiled widely at him and spoke. "Yo, long time no see, mister..." he said with a big smile.

"Took you long enough... What took you three so long to get here?" Jin said with a serious expression on his face.

Tengan bowed slightly. "Sorry Mr. Kirigiri, we were just stranded in a long traffic jam." He gestured towards Naruto and Sasuke, who stood a little awkwardly, not quite used to the formality of the situation.

"Yeah, old gramps is right, the damn traffic really is a hazard..." Naruto said, agreeing with Tengan.

"I can see that," Jin replied, his gaze lingering for a moment on Naruto's bright yellow-blond hair and Sasuke's obsidian eyes. "Please, have a seat."

He gestured to a set of chairs in front of his desk. Tengan took the seat closest to Jin, while Naruto and Sasuke hesitantly took the other two chairs. They exchanged uneasy glances, the air in the office thick with an unspoken tension.

"So tell me, are you two excited to meet your fellow ultimate classmates?" Jin said, his voice still calm and measured.

"Of course, we are excited! I'm eager to meet our new classmates, right Sasuke?" Naruto said with a big smile. While Sasuke only replied with a "hmm..." His eyes were closed, and his expression still stoic.

Tengan chuckled, and Jin nodded. "I'm glad to hear that you two are excited to meet them..."

"So, you're all set to meet your fellow classmates," Jin said, leaning back in his chair and tapping his fingers lightly on his desk. "It's going to be a very interesting experience for the both of you. But, remember, this is no ordinary school. You two are all here for a very specific reason." He said to the two boys. "The gym is where you two will meet your fellow ultimate classmates..."

"Wait, in the gym? Why there?" Naruto said, confused.

"Because the gym is perfect for the meeting," Jin said to the blonde boy. "The gym is a large place for all of you to meet each other..."

"Wait really? Just how many of our classmates enrolled?" Naruto said to Jin, wanting to understand more.

"There are fifteen Ultimate Students, plus the two of you, which makes it seventeen now," Jin said to the blonde hair boy.

"Fifteen, that's a lot... And also plus me and Sasuke, that would make it seventeen..." Naruto said, shocked about the revelation.

"Indeed, that's exactly what I said..." Jin said in a stoic expression.

Then Sasuke spoke to Jin. "And what classroom are we in?" Sasuke said in a stoic expression as well.

Jin raised an eyebrow but decided to speak.

"You'll learn soon enough," Jin said to the dark hair boy.

Sasuke frowned, not satisfied about the questions he's getting from the new headmaster. "Why not, is this some kind of secret that we are not allowed to know of, why tell us now..." Sasuke said, his expression unchanged.

Naruto agreed and spoke. "Yeah, I agree with Sasuke, why tell us now already?" He said to Jin.

Tengan chuckled silently at the two, as he can tell that Jin is having a hard time with these two younglings. While Jin just sighed and decided to give them the answer.

"You two will be in the 77th class, alongside your Ultimate classmates," Jin said to the two.

Naruto's eyes widened in surprise and he spoke. "77th class..."

Jin nodded and spoke. "Yes, that's correct. That will be your class... Why, you don't like the idea of that?" He said to the blonde hair boy.

"Oh no, I was just surprised that all..." Naruto said in a smile.

"So me and the idiot will be in the 77th class huh, alongside our Ultimate classmates..." Sasuke thought to himself silently.

Jin then cleared his throat and spoke. "So any of you still have any questions or not?" He said to the two boys.

"No more questions sir," Naruto said to Jin. Sasuke also nodded as well, signaling that he doesn't have any questions to ask.

"Very well then, listen closely you two," Jin said to the two boys.

He paused, letting the weight of his words hang in the air before continuing. "Each of you has been chosen for your unique talents and abilities, talents that go far beyond what you've ever experienced before. And the challenges that lie ahead will test those talents to their very limits."

His gaze swept over Naruto, Sasuke, and Tengan, his expression turning more serious. "You'll be facing trials and tribulations unlike anything you've ever encountered, but through those challenges, you'll discover who you truly are, what you're capable of, and what it means to be truly strong."

He leaned forward again, his eyes gleaming with a hidden intensity. "This is not just a school, it's a crucible, a place where you'll be forged into something new, something extraordinary."

"Are you ready, Naruto? Are you ready, Sasuke?"

Naruto, his face alight with a determined grin, leaned forward, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. "I'm ready!"

Sasuke, his gaze unwavering, nodded silently, his expression stoic yet resolute. "I'm ready."

Tengan, a wise smile playing on his lips, said, "We're all ready, Mr. Kirigiri. Bring on the challenges."

Jin nodded, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "Very well. Then let the games begin."

A minute later, as Naruto, Sasuke, and Tengan left Jin's office, Tengan closed the door and spoke to the two boys.

"Well, I guess this is it then, I'll leave you two to your duties..." Tengan said as he was about to leave, but Naruto stopped him for a moment.

"Wait, where are you going, old gramps?" Naruto said, confused.

"Well, unfortunately, I still have things to do. I might not be the headmaster anymore, but that doesn't mean I'm cut out from my duties..." Tengan said with a chuckle.

"Yeah, but how are we supposed to go to the gym, since we didn't know anything about this school..." Naruto said to the old man.

"Oh, don't worry, I'm pretty sure you younglings will find it eventually, just follow the instructions on the walls..." Tengan said to the boys.

"So, are you just going to leave us like that?" Naruto said to the old man.

"Yes, but don't worry. I have faith in the two of you, I know you two will find your way to the gym eventually..." Tengan said, as he walked to the opposite side of them. "So good luck finding it..."

Naruto and Sasuke were left standing outside Jin's office.

"Well, that's just fucking great then, how the fuck are we going to find the gym..." Naruto mumbled to himself.

Unfortunately, Sasuke was able to hear Naruto's mumbling words and also spoke.

"We don't have a choice, we can't force the old man to accompany us there..." He said in a stoic expression. "And besides, I like it this way. He doesn't have to keep an eye on us anymore..."

Naruto sighed in response to Sasuke. "Yeah, you're right. I think this is indeed a good idea after all..." Naruto said, agreeing with Sasuke.

"Come, we better get going. We'll not be late for our first day of class..." Sasuke said as he walked to the opposite side from where Tengan had walked by. Naruto nodded and followed Sasuke along the way.

It's been almost an hour since Naruto and Sasuke were walking in the school hallways trying to find the gym they were supposed to go to. Thankfully, the instructions were pretty straightforward. Still, they didn't want to draw attention to everyone. Like, at all. They were on a mission here, and attracting attention would only complicate things. But it was starting to annoy Naruto, they still couldn't find the gym, because of how big this school was.

"Where the hell is the damn gym? We've been walking for almost a fucking hour now..." Naruto said annoyed.

"Be patient, idiot. We will find it soon..." Sasuke said in a stoic expression.

"Fuck this, I'm not walking around the school all day to find this damn gym..." Naruto said, as he prepared a hand sign performing the shadow clone jutsu.

Sasuke smacked Naruto on the head for being an idiot. Sasuke wouldn't let Naruto create his shadow clones, because this would attract some unwanted attention.

"Ahhh... What the fuck was that for, bastard..." Naruto said, brushing his head.

Sasuke frowned at Naruto's stupidity. "Are you a moron? Why are you trying to create a shadow clone? Are you trying to attract some attention..." He said in a whisper that only he and Naruto could hear.

"What the fuck are you talking about? There are only us in this long hallway, bastard..." Naruto said to Sasuke, confused and angry.

"Not really..." Sasuke said in a more serious expression.

Naruto was confused about what Sasuke was talking about. "What do you mean by that..."

Sasuke pointed to the CCTV's that were monitoring the hallway. Guessing Naruto to look. "Look over there, Naruto. Did you see that thing..." He said, pointing at the CCTV cameras.

"Yeah, what is it..." Naruto said to Sasuke, as he was looking at the CCTV.

"That's a CCTV camera, idiot..." Sasuke said to Naruto, making him understand.

Naruto was dumbfounded at what Sasuke called that straight thing. "CCTV, what the fuck is that..." He said confused.

"That thing monitoring everything in this hallway, idiot... Since we are walking in this hallway, it will also see us..." Sasuke said to him in a whisper. "That's why it's not a good idea for you to use your shadow clone."

Naruto's eyes widened and he spoke. "What, how the hell did you know that..." He said, surprised at Sasuke.

"Because I've been studying some technologies in this world and trying to understand them..." Sasuke said to Naruto.

Naruto's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe Sasuke was already studying the technology of this new world. He couldn't help but feel a little bit impressed, even though Sasuke was still being a jerk. Sasuke, the stoic and seemingly emotionless Sasuke, was actually interested in studying the technology of this world. "Seriously? You're studying this stuff?" Naruto asked, still bewildered.

Sasuke nodded, a rare hint of a smirk playing on his lips. "It's not exactly my favorite pastime, but it's useful to know how things work. Especially if it means avoiding unwanted attention," he replied, glancing back at the CCTV.

Naruto scratched his head, starting to feel a little ashamed of his own impulsiveness. He hadn't even considered the cameras, and his shadow clones were definitely attention-grabbing. "Well, guess you're right. But this place is massive! How are we supposed to find the gym?" Naruto said, his frustration returning.

"We just need to keep looking," Sasuke said, starting to walk again. "The signs should be obvious. And if we ask someone..."

"No way! I'm not asking anyone for directions. I'm not gonna be seen asking for help like some lost puppy," Naruto protested, his pride wounded. He felt like he had to prove he could figure it out on his own, even if he was getting frustrated.

"Fine, suit yourself," Sasuke said, not even bothering to argue. He knew Naruto's stubborn nature, and he wasn't about to waste his breath on it.

"Alright, alright, I get it," Naruto said, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender. "But still, I'm hungry. How long are we going to keep walking around?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "We'll find the gym eventually. And we'll find a place to eat. Just be patient, Naruto."

They continued walking, Naruto grumbling to himself about his empty stomach. Sasuke, meanwhile, continued to study the surroundings. They continued to walk, navigating the sprawling hallways, looking for any sign that might point them towards the gym.

Naruto noticed a sign on the wall above, it was a sign that read "Gymnasium."

"Hey, Sasuke! Look!" Naruto exclaimed, pointing at the sigh in the wall. "Looks like we are close..."

Sasuke looked at the door, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Well, I'll be damn," he said. "Looks like we're not so lost after all."

As they walked, following the instructions on the sign, Naruto couldn't help but feel a little smug. Even though he had been impatient and frustrated, he had found the gym in the end. He was starting to feel more confident in this new world, and he was excited to see what challenges and adventures awaited them.

Naruto and Sasuke turned the corner. However, Sasuke then suddenly bumped into someone. Acting fast, Sasuke not only steadied himself but also made sure to grab the other person by their hips before they went tumbling to the ground.

As the two hit the ground, Sasuke was laying on the floor while the other person had landed directly into Sasuke's chest.

Naruto looked at the two figures in front of him. He didn't know if he wanted to help Sasuke or not. But seeing Sasuke getting tackled by another person was refreshing to his eyes. Looking over to the person landing on Sasuke's chest, Naruto realized that it was a girl. She had long, choppy, dark purple hair that was cut unevenly. She wore some kind of nurse outfit and had most of her left arm and right leg bandaged up. But he couldn't tell what her face looked like since her face was buried into Sasuke's chest.

Naruto then turned his attention to Sasuke and asked, "Hey, Sasuke, are you alright?" Naruto said worriedly.

"Yeah, thanks, I'm doing just fine." Sasuke said to Naruto, as he tried to shake off his head, because of the sudden impact.

"Damn it, I let my guard down." Sasuke thought angrily. Next time, I'm going to be more focused.

"Damn Sasuke, you need to be more focused on your surroundings." Naruto said to Sasuke, as he tried to hold back a laugh.

"Oh, shut up, you loser." Sasuke said annoyed at Naruto's words.

Sasuke then noticed that the person he had bumped into, he didn't realize it because he was trying to recover himself. Sasuke looked down at the person who was almost hugging him. He was about to lash out at the person, but he then realized that it was a woman who had bumped into him. Unlike Naruto, he also noticed the woman's appearance.

Then suddenly, the woman was trying to collect herself, as she looked at Sasuke in front of her, looking him directly in his eyes. Sasuke also looked her directly into her eyes. As their eyes met, Sasuke also noticed that the woman had light, greyish-purple eyes with a beauty mark under her left eye. He could tell that she was indeed a very beautiful woman, as if Sasuke would care. All in all, this girl had a very peculiar appearance. Naruto also noticed the girl's face and couldn't help but tell that she was indeed beautiful.

Then the woman started to cry, this made Naruto and Sasuke surprised by her suddenly crying.

"I-I'm so sorrrrrrrrryyyyyy," she apologized to them, stepping back and clutching her arms over her chest. "I-I didn't think anyone else was coming, s-so I wasn't paying attention, and a-and I'm sorry!"

"Hey hey it's okay, we were the one that should apologize to bumping into you..." Naruto said as he waved his hand at her.

Sasuke also stood up, as he brushed the dust off his clothes. His expression remained stoic. After he was done brushing the dust off his clothes, he glanced at the woman again, his expression unchanged. He could see that the woman kept apologizing to them.

Naruto, on the other hand, scratched his head. This girl was odd, to say the least. He couldn't put his finger on it either. It was almost like she was expecting them to lash out at her.

"You don't have to apologize so much, ya know? It's not like it's your fault. I was the one who ran into you. So it's cool, okay?" Naruto said, trying to calm her down. Sasuke remained silent as he only observed the woman quietly.

Naruto then turned to Sasuke and spoke. "Hey Sasuke, say your sorry to her..." He said to Sasuke.

Sasuke frowned, turning his head toward Naruto. "And why should I? She was the one who bumped into me..." He said to Naruto.

"Just fucking do it okay, you want this girl to keep apologizing..." Naruto said to him.

Sasuke, being the one who didn't want to argue, sighed in response. "Fine..." He said, then he turned his head toward the woman and spoke. "I'm sorry I bumped into you..." He said in a stoic expression.

Naruto chuckled and spoke. "Well, that wasn't so hard was it..." He said, tapping Sasuke's back.

Sasuke only folded his arms and responded with an annoyed tone. "Yeah, whatever..."

The girl's eyes widened. "Aaaaaahhh!"

Naruto had to take a step back. "W-What? What's wrong?" Naruto said confused.

Sasuke, on the other hand, only raised an eyebrow at the woman's sudden action.

She was staring at him like he was from another planet. "I-I…..I wasn't expecting you to a-apologize…...hehehehe." She then started giggling to herself, her face bright.

Naruto was stumped. This girl had gone from being teary-eyed, to confused, to happy in the span of a few seconds. That was a lot of emotions right there. She twiddled with her fingers. "Hehehe. I-I'm so happy…..."

Sasuke, on the other hand, was also surprised at this woman's sudden action, as if she was doing it on purpose or something.

It was Naruto's eyes that widened this time. That pose of hers, it reminded him a lot of a certain Hyuuga friend of his back in his world. In fact, the more he looked at this girl, the more he realized that she and Hinata looked very much alike. But he needed to perish those thoughts. This girl wasn't Hinata. Trying to compare the two would be unfair to both of them.

Sasuke only remained silent as he only observed the woman with a stoic expression, trying to understand her completely.

"U-Um….." The girl began to squirm under his gaze. "I-Is there a reason you two are staring a-at me like that?" Her eyes widened again. "Aaaaaahhh! It's because I'm so unsightly, isn't it? I-I'm sorry!" She clutched her head in fear. "W-Would it make you two feel better if I took my clothes off?"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow and spoke. "Come again..." He said, folding his arms.

"You two were looking at me, as if I'm ugly and unsightly. So I guess that taking off my clothes will not make you two like me..." She said twiddling with her fingers.

"What the fuck!?" Naruto thought to himself, shocked at the girl for trying to take her clothes off.

"No, it's not like that!" Naruto did his best to try and calm the girl down. "We were just surprised that you bumped into my friend here..." He said to her. "So please, you don't have to take your clothes off, okay..."

The girl began to calm down, putting Naruto at ease. The blond felt like he had wasted so much energy just talking to this girl. But at the same time, he didn't think of it as annoying.

Sasuke, on the other hand, felt something about this woman. He couldn't tell why, but he could feel that she was unstable or something.

Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other for a moment, as if they were trying to understand what the hell just happened.

"Anyway, what are you doing out here?" Naruto looked past her toward the door behind her. It was labeled as the gym. "Are you going to the gym too?" Naruto said to her.

"Y-Yes. I'm going to the entrance ceremony for this year." She clutched her arms again. "B-But I was so nervous about going in and meeting so many new people, that I froze in fear. I haven't been able to go in even though it's almost time for the ceremony to begin…..."

"Hmmm, so this woman is going to be our classmate, huh?" Sasuke thought to himself, his expression unchanged.

Naruto smiled. "Really, that's where we are going too. Looks like we're going to be classmates." Naruto said, with a big smile.

The girl looked at Naruto and then to Sasuke. "R-Really?" She couldn't help but smile a little as well. "That's amazing! I didn't think I would be meeting another classmate so soon!"

"Yeah, me too... Hehehe..." Naruto said, laughing, he liked the idea that he had already met one of their classmates.

"By the way, what's your name..." Naruto said, his big smile didn't disappear.

The girl hesitated for a moment, as if not sure to tell them or not. But she didn't want to be rude to them so she tried. "Ah! M-My name is Tsumiki Mikan." She blushed a little. "I hope we can get along from now on…..."

Naruto's smile warmly and he spoke. "Mikan Tsumuki, that's a nice name..." He said with a thumbs up. Then he also introduced himself as well. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki... Nice meeting you..." He said with a big smile.

The now named Mikan seemed pleased by his words. As she also returned Naruto's smile with her own.

Sasuke, on the other hand, didn't say anything, as he only silently observing the two interactions. Sasuke noticed that this Mikan woman was a shy person, it also reminded him of something similar back in his academy days. But he couldn't remember her name, as if he truly cared. He really never cared about his annoying fan girls.

Naruto then turned his head to Sasuke and spoke. "So are you not gonna introduce yourself, huh..." He said with a smirk.

Mikan also glanced at Sasuke for a moment. She kept looking at Sasuke, she noticed that he was a good-looking guy, that only had a scary face. She blushed and hid her blush with her hands, not wanting the two boys to notice in front of her.

As Naruto told Sasuke to introduce himself, Sasuke responded with a subtle raise of his eyebrows, conveying his lack of interest in divulging extraneous details. With a pragmatic approach, he decided to share only essential information that pertained to their current interaction.

"I'm Sasuke Uchiha... That's all you need to be aware of," he stated with a stoic demeanor, his arms folded across his chest, emphasizing the succinct nature of his introduction.

Observing Sasuke's terse response, Naruto couldn't help but roll his eyes in exasperation, letting out a sigh as he facepalmed at Sasuke's straightforward and unembellished manner of communication. But he decided to not argue more and just leave it at that.

"N-nice meeting you Sasuke Uchiha..." Mikan said blushing and being shy.

"Hmph... Likewise." Sasuke said, his expression remained stoic.

Naruto noticed Mikan's blushing face and spoke. "Is there something wrong Mikan? Why are you blushing..." He said to her.

Mikan's face flushed even deeper, her eyes darting between Naruto and Sasuke. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm blushing. It's just, well...you both seem...interesting. And I think maybe..." she trailed off, a giggle escaping her lips.

Naruto, ever the oblivious one, just grinned. "Interesting, huh? That's great! We're pretty interesting, that's for sure."

Sasuke, on the other hand, was less amused by the comment. He wasn't exactly known for his easy-going personality, and he wasn't sure he liked the way Mikan was looking at him. It reminded him of those fangirls back in Konoha, all fawning over him. He wasn't a fan of the attention, and it was making him feel a bit uncomfortable.

Sasuke cleared his throat, trying to shift the focus. "That's enough, you two. We're going to be late for the ceremony if you keep talking. It's already starting." He glanced at the door, where he could hear the faint sounds of a crowd gathering.

Mikan, realizing Sasuke was right, quickly straightened her posture and nodded. "You're right. Sorry, I was just lost in thought. Thank you both for talking to me. It was really nice meeting you two." She gave them a shy smile. Naruto also nodded as well, agreeing with Sasuke.

Mikan now had more confidence to face the rest of her classmates. She only hoped that they were as nice as Naruto.

Naruto noticing Mikan trying to build confidence in herself couldn't help but smile. He then turned to Sasuke, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Wow, she was... a bit strange, wasn't she?"

Sasuke just grunted in response, not giving Naruto any more information. He wasn't sure if she was strange or not, but he definitely wasn't ready to delve into analyzing her personality or her eccentricities. His goal was to get to the ceremony, understand this world, and maybe, just maybe, learn something from this Ultimate Academy that would help him get stronger.

"Shall we?" Naruto said, turning to Mikan and smiling at her.

Mikan nodded. "Y-Yes!" She said nervously.

Sasuke didn't respond as he only folded his arms.

"Well, let's go," Naruto said, starting to walk towards the gym entrance. "This ceremony can't be that interesting."

Sasuke, though still a little perplexed by Mikan, both Sasuke and Mikan followed Naruto. Sasuke had to admit, Naruto had a point. This ceremony probably wasn't going to be something they would remember for the rest of their lives. But it was a start. A start to their adventure in this strange new world, filled with unfamiliar faces, strange powers, and unlimited potential.

To be continued.
