The proposal was approved, but only for the initial preparations.

Steve's primary concern was straightforward: he feared that taking too large a leap could lead to everything unraveling.

After all, as a veteran suddenly thrust from the World War II era into the complexities of modern society, the information age was a staggering shock for him. He understood all too well how disorienting and painful that experience could be. That's why he worried that during the development process, there might be similar "growing pains" that could have negative repercussions.

In response, Arthur could only assure him that information dissemination would proceed gradually. Humanity would inevitably evolve, and the future would connect with the broader universe.

Earthlings couldn't remain in their small, isolated bubbles forever. The future wouldn't always be a clear blue sky filled with harmony.

So, in the end, Arthur earnestly stated: "It might seem absurd that only a handful of us are here discussing the future of humanity. But for now, this is what we can do.

I don't care if you see this as a duty, a responsibility, or a mission; there's one fundamental truth: this will be our work. I can't speak for everyone, but personally, I don't plan to be a superhero forever. There's an old saying: 'Each generation has its champions; the new replaces the old.' We will grow old, but the future will march on. When we're in our seventies and eighties, stepping back from the forefront of history, are we going to leave our successors a chaotic mess?"

The tone was heavy, and for younger heroes like Spider-Man, such a future felt far off.

But it undeniably resonated.

Steve nodded thoughtfully: "You're right."

Thus, the proposal passed, but the initial preparations would still demand considerable time.

Once this door was opened, if the actions taken were too drastic, it could easily become a target for criticism.

This was not what Arthur wanted, nor was it what any member of the Superhero Alliance desired. Therefore, ensuring discreet and secure information dissemination, establishing a company, and concealing their true identities would all be the next challenges.

To be honest, very few people present were experts in these areas.

Fortunately, some attendees had talented individuals working under them, and given enough time, the results wouldn't be too shabby.

After wrapping up this topic, Arthur shifted to another matter:

"The Life Foundation…"

As he spoke, he tapped twice on the large round table, and in an instant, a 3D holographic model materialized on the tabletop.

Before each person lay a file containing information about Drake.

"Recently, we seem to have made some level of contact with this organization. Of course, I've been handling this personally, so you probably don't know much about it…"

Arthur shrugged:

"In any case, it's a behemoth. Its headquarters are in San Francisco. The founder is the man before you, Drake. A brilliant mind, but he's taken a wrong turn. I don't know what's driving his urgency, but it's clear he's no longer fit to lead such an organization. So, after everyone reviews this material, we need to devise a plan to take over the Life Foundation."

'Taking over the Life Foundation!' Arthur had mentioned before that this topic needed to be addressed at the meeting.

The files contained not only information about Drake but also some of the Life Foundation's research and experimental projects.

Once everyone finished reviewing, their gazes turned toward Harry.

It was Harry who had facilitated much of what transpired at Camp Lehigh. When it came to this kind of operation, he was indeed the most experienced.

"There shouln't be any problem with this," Harry nodded, a hint of excitement in his voice. "Could the Life Foundation also serve as one of our branch bases? After going through the material just now, I have a rough concept in mind, even a blueprint. But since this plan isn't fully fleshed out yet, I won't present it here. I'll organize it properly and share it with everyone later."

"Thanks for your hard work," Arthur acknowledged. Harry took his seat, and Arthur continued: "Then, let's assign this matter to Harry. The next topic is about our extraterrestrial visitors."

Brock waved to everyone, drawing their attention.

Arthur said, "Symbiotes originate from the galaxy. They are lifeforms capable of parasitizing humans. Their original form is relatively fragile, but once they bond with a human, they can unleash extraordinary power!"

As he spoke, the large table projected an image, this time showcasing Brock and Venom wreaking havoc inside the Life Foundation.

Everyone watched intently, especially Harry.

He had previously led research on Venom, and now, witnessing Venom's dynamic movements made him feel a bit uneasy.

Arthur clarified: "To be clear, what we're discussing now isn't Venom himself, because Venom has already become one of us."

He glanced at Brock.

Brock blinked and said, "Say hi to everyone… Come on, don't be shy!"

The black substance surged up between Brock's neck and face, quickly enveloping him, completely obscuring his features and transforming into a black head with bared teeth and a long tongue. He addressed the group:

"Nice to meet you all. Just looking at you, I can tell... you must all be very tasty... Oh, no, I mean very good people. Sorry, I just learned human speech and might not have phrased that quite right."

Those familiar with him were no longer surprised. After all, Venom had previously given Arthur questionable advice, suggesting he use hunger to threaten a rebellion.

So it was understandable that he'd say something awkward in front of everyone now.

Only Spider-Man and Venom exchanged glances, both sensing a familiarity in each other's presence.

"That's Venom," Arthur explained. "Brock is just an ordinary person, but once Venom bonds with him, he can unleash power far beyond Superman-class limits. Out in the cosmos, there are millions of such Symbiotes. If they come to Earth, you can imagine the chaos that could ensue. I'm sure you understand.

Before our technology is fully developed, we must figure out how to deal with these Symbiotes. So... does anyone have any good ideas?"
