A name like "No Pain" was, without a doubt, pretty bizarre.

Arthur couldn't help but wonder if the researchers at Camp Lehigh had been influenced by his own "naming disability," which somehow resulted in such peculiar and amusing naming conventions even for drugs.

This particular drug was a short-term anesthetic, administered through subcutaneous injection. Its effect was extremely potent; within three seconds of injection, the target would fall unconscious.

However, the duration was very brief. In just two or three seconds, the person would regain consciousness!

The interesting part was that it had no side effects at all.

To be honest, Arthur even felt this thing could be used in combat, because not even a superhero's formidable physique could fully resist its effects, though the period of unconsciousness would be even shorter.

But even one second was enough to turn the tide of battle.

For now, however, the drug was only being used as an auxiliary tool to help Arthur safely transfer his comrades…

One had to admit, science truly was remarkable. It saved Arthur the trouble of knocking someone out with a punch, and it almost made him sigh from the heart: "Science really is omnipotent."

Meanwhile, the Eye of Horus continued relaying the situation inside the Raider spaceship. The raiders seemed to be engaging in some cruel revelry, already beginning to toss the bound prisoners into the vacuum of space.

That also explained why they hadn't noticed Arthur's ship's arrival; it was clear that, caught up in their sadistic entertainment, they had no attention to spare for anything else.

Once T'Challa injected the drug, his body went limp and collapsed… but before he could hit the ground, Arthur had already stored him inside the Disassemble Space.

With a flash of movement, instant teleportation, Arthur reappeared inside the Raider spaceship.

However, he didn't immediately release T'Challa. Instead, he ascended to a higher-level passage first, and only then did he bring T'Challa back out.

After a few more seconds, T'Challa's eyes suddenly snapped open. Glancing around at his surroundings, he exclaimed, "I've heard of this more than once, but experiencing it myself is truly bizarre! Arthur, hasn't anyone ever tried to study or unravel the mystery behind your powers?"

Arthur thought for a moment before replying: "Probably not…"

Logically speaking, someone should have. But most people seemed to come up with their own explanations. After all, Arthur had once slumbered for nearly seventy years, a state caused by the Tesseract.

So naturally, much of his strangeness was often attributed to that pale blue cube.

On top of that, Arthur had traveled through space, and after returning, he had also spent some time in Kamar-Taj. That alone gave him a convenient excuse whenever questions arose.

Of course, the most important point was this: no one had ever come to Arthur directly to verify any of it. For that reason, even Arthur himself felt puzzled. He could only conclude that most people simply weren't all that interested.

Just like with Spider-Man, aside from Arthur, no one really cared about why the kid had his powers.

Or rather, what mattered to them wasn't how he gained his powers, but who he was and what he did with them. After all, most of these processes couldn't be replicated anyway. Even if someone knew the truth, it wouldn't help them.

Take Hulk, for example. How was he created? Gamma radiation!

But how many idiots would actually subject themselves to a "gamma ray bath" just to become the Hulk?

Out of all of them, Tony's experience was probably the easiest to replicate. After all, gaining extraordinary abilities through technology was, in theory, reproducible, the simplest way being to acquire an Iron Man suit.

Yet people were different. Not everyone who puts on an Iron Man suit would truly become Iron Man!

So, in short, these things were hard to define, and not what most people focused on.

T'Challa's remark had triggered Arthur's inner thoughts to the point he almost forgot why they had come here in the first place.

At once, Arthur waved his hand. "Move out!"

The two quickly sprang into action. Under Arthur's lead, they soon arrived at their destination, the very center of the Raider spaceship, before the entrance to its largest hall.

Up to this point, not a single soul had noticed their presence.

Pushing the gate open just a crack, a shrill scream rang out:

"No, don't do this! You'll pay the price for what you're doing!"

T'Challa furrowed his brows, his face full of question marks: "What's going on? Why do I feel like what's happening inside is not quite what I imagined?"

As he said this, Arthur had already swung the doors wide open and stepped confidently into view. With a faint smile, he said:

"Seems like I've come at the wrong time. Are you all holding some kind of… carnival?"

For a brief moment, the entire hall went silent. The usually slouched Rocket suddenly widened his eyes in disbelief: "God, I'm not dreaming, am I? On this terrible day, I actually get some good news?"

"Watch out!" Yondu suddenly shouted!

From behind Arthur, a man leapt out, springing from the shadows in an attempt to land a fatal strike on his head. The short blade in his right hand gleamed viciously, ready to add an "interesting decoration" to Arthur's skull.

But Arthur didn't move at all. He had already seen the man, after all, the Eye of Horus had no 120-degree blind spot. The reason he didn't move was because…

A hand suddenly appeared mid-air, grabbing the attacker by the waist. With a fierce swing, the man was smashed into the wall. The force was brutal, there was a loud bang, and the attacker spat up blood before collapsing to the floor, clearly beyond saving.

Arthur was a little surprised: "That was… a bit heavy-handed for 'take action,' wasn't it?"

T'Challa was also taken aback: "I thought aliens were supposed to be hard to beat…"

Arthur shook his head lightly: "There's no need to exaggerate their strength. Look, at the end of the day, they're still just people."

As those words fell, Arthur had already drawn his pistol. A sharp bang! echoed as a Raider traitor, who had been trying to take advantage of their conversation to sneak in an attack, was blown to pieces.

T'Challa quickly covered his eyes: "I don't see how you're treating them as 'people' at all."

"KILL THEM!!!!"

A furious roar erupted. The shock of Arthur's sudden appearance was over, now, for the Raider traitors, there was no time for surprise. The only thing that mattered was tearing this intruder apart, limb by limb!
