From just past nine in the morning until after four in the afternoon, Luo Xiu and Sun Li finally left the hotel after their joyride.
Sun Li had entered the hotel smiling, but she left crying. Her expression had gone from a beaming smile to a complete breakdown.

Seeing Sun Li slumped against the seatback, drowsy and utterly exhausted, Luo Xiu felt a pang of guilt and self-reproach. Ever since taking the Sky Yin Pill from Lu Nianjiao, he felt a change in his appetites; he was seemingly insatiable. Even now, the pill's effects had yet to be fully absorbed.
"Sob, sob… Xiu, you're awful…"
Luo Xiu reached out to rub her head. Looking at her red-rimmed eyes, he said softly, "I'm sorry. I'll control myself next time."
"You still think there's going to be a next time?"
Sun Li flared up, hammering his head with her small fists.
"You've completely wrecked me this time! Don't you dare think about touching a single hair on my head ever again!"
