In an iron cage seemingly built for a wild beast, a man sat completely naked, save for a pair of tattered shorts. His hair was disheveled, and he emanated a foul stench, like a savage.
Sensing someone's arrival, the man suddenly snapped to life, fiercely lifting his head. Beneath his greasy, matted hair, his eyes glowed a ghastly, eerie green.
CLANK! CLANK!
The iron chains shook violently. Like a wild beast, the man charged at the bars of the cage, grabbing them with both hands as he roared ferociously. The sounds that came out of his mouth were no longer human, but the howls of a monster. His long fingernails had turned a dark, blackish-red.
This… is he a man or a monster?
Even though Jiang Ce was mentally prepared, the sight still shocked him. Now he finally understood why Dr. Liu had constructed such a basement to contain this person.
