Jiang Ce crawled out from under the couch and pulled the woman's hand, rushing to get outside. "I heard a noise at the door. We need to find another way out."
As he spoke, Jiang Ce looked around, searching for another exit. Just then, the woman pointed to the side. Following her gesture, Jiang Ce saw a side door, and his eyes lit up.
"I didn't expect you to know the layout so well despite being a captive. Let's go."
They quickly reached the side door, opened it, and left. The two moved swiftly through the vast Underground Palace.
But they hadn't gone far before that feeling of being watched returned. Jiang Ce frowned, unable to endure it any longer. The sensation was so intense that it felt as if someone was standing just a meter behind him.
He whirled around, his spiritual vision fully activated, a faint blue glow emanating from his eyes. But there was still not the slightest movement. All he found was the silence in the darkness.
