Early the next morning, Lin Mu received a call from Su Ke'er.
"Lin... Lin Mu, can you come over?" A hint of hesitation colored her voice.
"Yes, okay," he replied.
Lin Mu pondered for a moment before agreeing. The company was currently undergoing resource integration, and collaborations with various major families had begun. Su Ke'er was personally managing everything. Lin Mu assumed Su Ke'er must have encountered some problems she couldn't resolve on her own.
However, events developed in a way that was far beyond his expectations.
Su Ke'er wasn't at the company at all.
When he called her phone, no one answered.
Lin Mu immediately realized something was wrong. He suddenly recalled hearing a strange noise in the background when Su Ke'er had called him earlier. After a moment of thought, he remembered who it belonged to.
A faint smile touched his lips, and he went straight to Su Ke'er's home.
