Jing Xuan looked up, his gaze deep as he spoke to her, "May I stand up now?"
Tang Huai nodded, "You may; it's dawn already. But if you still want to kneel, feel free to continue."
Jing Xuan stood up. After a night on his knees, he showed no signs of discomfort.
However, as he got to his feet, he hatched a scheme. Suddenly, he staggered, as if he was about to fall back down just after standing up.
Tang Huai's heart tightened, and she quickly reached out to support him, "Brother Jing Xuan!"
Would Jing Xuan allow her to catch him so easily?
He took the opportunity to pull her slightly toward him.
