Walking past the other end of the arched bridge, she saw an old nun chopping wood.

Gu Jiajia smiled and stepped forward, asking the nun, "What would you like me to do?"
The old nun handed the sickle to Gu Jiajia and pointed to a dry log at her feet, "I injured my right wrist yesterday and can't chop through the thicker logs. Could you assist me?"
"Sure." Gu Jiajia took the sickle and helped the old nun chop the log, as thick as her arm, into pieces.
After finishing, she handed the sickle back to the old nun with a bright smile, "Done."
The old nun took the sickle and repeatedly thanked Gu Jiajia.
Seeing her wearing gloves made of plastic material, Gu Jiajia, out of concern, asked the old nun, "Sister, is your hand injury okay?"
The old nun shook her head with a smile, "It's fine, as long as I don't grip the knife tightly."
