Hongnian is a very special person.
As the only offspring of the Late Crown Prince, his life was supposed to be difficult.
High status indicates high position; this is simply the view of ordinary folks.
In truth, within the hall of power, status does not necessarily equate to position.
Someone like him, if he met an emperor with a narrow mind, might not live to adulthood.

Thus, he stayed in the palace and became the Elder Prince.
