Xiang Anning let out a long sigh. "Forget it, leave her with me for now. We'll talk again once she's adapted in a day or two!"
Xiang Anning reached out and took Lingxian from the director's arms.
Lingxian probably knew that Xiang Anning lived with Bingqing, so when Xiang Anning went to hold her, she didn't resist; however, her gaze kept following the direction in which Bingqing left.
Xiang Anning decided on her own to temporarily take in Lingxian.
Everyone else dispersed.
Xiang Anning carried Little Lingxian back to the clinic.
With Bingqing's cleanliness obsession, he went straight to shower upon returning home. He still wasn't aware that Xiang Anning had taken Lingxian in.
Lingxian, in Xiang Anning's arms, kept calling out for 'Uncle'!
"You smell stinky. Let me wash you up, and then I'll help you find Uncle. So stinky, Uncle won't want you!" Xiang Anning coaxed.
She carried Lingxian to her room.
