Yeh Jianyang laughed gracefully with some regret, "I was thinking of inviting you to have hotpot, but it seems tonight I'll have to eat it alone."
"Thank you, Principal Yeh." Gu Xiaoer, holding Li Wanzi's hand, was about to leave.

Their conversation ended there, without noticing a puzzled gaze cast from the shadows behind them, intense as it fell on Yeh Jianyang, and turning into curiosity and jealousy when looking at Gu Xiaoer.
Gu Xiaoer called Li Wanzi, and the two of them bought some of their favorite ingredients, ready to go home and enjoy themselves.
"Little Ear, you're really wasting food this way." Li Wanzi truly couldn't compliment Gu Xiaoer's cooking skills.
Gu Xiaoer rolled her eyes at him, "Be grateful, back then, your daddy didn't know how many disastrous meals he had to eat from me, and he ate them quite happily."
