Ruyan sat down on a nearby chair, "That's right. The Qiu Family is immensely wealthy, the richest in Mingzhu Country. Such a large family, yet there's no direct heir, and you are the only legitimate bloodline. Your father was crippled and can no longer have children. Thus, the vast Qiu Family will be yours to inherit."
"I never said I wanted that fortune!"
Yin Jun abruptly interrupted Ruyan. She genuinely had no interest in the Qiu Family's wealth.
"You may not want it, but it's not up to you to refuse it. Think of your mother; for your sake, she can't even acknowledge her own daughter, forcing you to call her 'aunt'. How much of her feelings can you understand?"
