Shen Yi was similarly taken aback for a moment, then, enduring the pain in his knee, he pretended nothing was wrong and walked down.
"Dad, why are you up?" Shen Wenzhou asked.
"Came down to drink some water," Shen Yi said as he walked, "What about you? What are you doing sitting in the living room?"
After a moment of silence, Shen Wenzhou said, "I kept feeling something was off, couldn't sleep, so I came down to sit for a bit."
As he spoke, Shen Wenzhou's gaze fell to his father's leg. No matter how much he tried to hide it, his father's way of walking down the stairs was still a bit odd.
