"Shenwu Qing, there is danger, retreat quickly!" Normally, guardians were not permitted to contact the person they protected. At times, they concealed their existence so completely that the person under their watch did not even know they existed.
"Senior Youluan!" Shenwu Qing stopped in her tracks and exclaimed in shock. She had thought that with the vicious personality of that bitch Shenwu Yanye, there was no way she would bother sending someone to protect her, much less the second strongest person in the Eternal Night Kingdom.
Given how disappointed she was by her performance.
"There is a Divine Limit Beast approaching. I will handle it. Retreat quickly!" Shenwu Youluan had no time for explanations. She barked the order and shot forward, moving to intercept the beast that was rapidly closing in.
Shenwu Youluan might be incredibly strong, but if she were to face someone at the Divine Limit Realm, protecting another person at the same time would be nearly impossible. The shock waves alone from such a battle would be enough to kill Shenwu Qing.

The speed of a Divine Limit Realm being was beyond comprehension. Shenwu Qing had barely crossed several dozen kilometers when a devastating explosion erupted behind her. A violent shock wave tore through everything in its path, reaching her almost instantly and sending her flying like a rag doll as blood burst from her mouth.

However, she had barely taken a few steps when another, even stronger shock wave slammed into her, hurling her through the air once more. "Another beast?! Impossible!" Her eyes widened in disbelief as she sensed an even more powerful aura colliding with the other two. Gritting her teeth, Shenwu Qing pushed herself off the ground, stomping hard enough to leave a deep crater before turning into a streak of light and flying away at full speed.
BOOMMM! BOOOMMM!! BOOMMM!!!
More and more explosions shook the heavens and earth, their thunder echoing through the Endless Fog as they continued to reach her. The helpless Shenwu Qing was struck again and again, each shock wave making her body sway violently or crash to the ground. Yet she refused to stop, forcing herself forward despite her injuries.
As she continued to run, the shock waves gradually weakened, and the impacts that reached her became weak enough for her to endure.
"I nearly died this time!" Even though she had escaped danger, Shenwu Qing didn't slow down in the slightest. She had ventured into the Endless Fog many times before, but this was the first time she had ever come this close to death.
After escaping for hundreds more kilometers, the shock waves no longer reached her. Shenwu Qing finally came to a stop, though she was still trembling. She sensed another battle ahead, as if someone was being besieged by multiple monsters.
Turning her gaze back toward the distant sky, she saw it had changed colors. The densely compacted Abyssal Dust swirled like an unimaginably colossal tornado, purple lightning tearing through it. Alongside the lightning were other piercing lights that seemed to cut straight through the heart of the tornado.
"Senior Youluan..." Shenwu Qing muttered softly. Turning back, she tried to change her direction to avoid getting caught in the fight ahead. Now that she had escaped immediate danger, she landed back on the ground and moved cautiously. Flying recklessly through the Endless Fog was one of the dumbest things a person could do, as it could easily draw the attention of the beasts attacking the unfortunate person or group ahead.
Swoosh!
However, after only a short while of moving cautiously, a thin, shadowy figure suddenly lunged at her from the dense veils of Abyssal Dust. Shenwu Qing reacted instantly, rolling across the ground several times to dodge the sharp claws that tore through her clothes. She sprang to her feet, clutching the sword in her hand, and stared vigilantly at the Abyssal Beast before her.
In the Abyssal Fog, everyone's vision and senses were severely limited. Even after the beast had drawn near, she could not detect it at all. This was one of the main reasons so many people died within the Endless Fog. If it had not been for the distant explosions of energy that had alerted her, Shenwu Qing would never have sensed the battle ahead earlier.
It was a small and skinny wolf, its eyes glowing blood red, with sharp claws more than half the size of its paws. It radiated the aura of a Half-step Divine Extinction Realm. Letting out a low, menacing howl, it lunged at Shenwu Qing once more.
"My luck is so fucked today," Shenwu Qing cursed as she rushed to face the beast before her. She had already been exhausted from her earlier battle and the desperate run, enduring the shock waves from the clash between the Divine Limit Realm powerhouses. And now she had to face a Half-step Divine Extinction Beast, a creature she would have needed her full strength to kill at her peak.

The wolf-like beast was small, clearly built for speed. It moved with astonishing swiftness, becoming a faint shadow before Shenwu Qing as if it had teleported, its sharp claws aiming straight for her neck.

Shenwu Qing bent her body backward until she was nearly parallel with the ground, narrowly evading the wolf's claws, and then slashed her sword in return.

The wolf twisted its body, but the sword still grazed its skin, leaving a faint wound. Flipping through the air several times, it turned to face Shenwu Qing, letting out a howl filled with killing intent before lunging at her once more.

Shenwu Qing's face grew paler by the second. The internal injuries she had accumulated earlier were sapping her strength and stamina. As time passed, more and more claw marks from the wolf appeared on her snow-white skin. Yet she gritted her teeth and pushed herself onward. She can still fight, she can still survive... she will win!
Roaar!
However, another roar from a different direction suddenly shattered all her hope. Her face drained of all color as a new beast joined the fight, swinging its massive tail at her and sending her flying like a broken doll.
"It's over." Kneeling on one knee, Shenwu Qing stared at the two approaching beasts, the suffocating aura of death pressing down on her. She muttered faintly, having once believed she would not fear death after everything she had endured under Shenwu Yanye. But now, with death looming before her, she felt unresigned. There were still so many things she wanted to do.
She wasn't willing to die!
Rumble! Bang!
Just then, a thick crimson-red lightning bolt descended from the sky, slamming into the wolf beast with a deafening impact.
Dust erupted from the collision, forming a dense, towering curtain that obscured everything. When the dust finally cleared, a large crater remained, and the shredded remains of the wolf lay within it. Shenwu Qing's eyes widened, her pupils shrinking in shock as she glanced to the side. She saw a person standing there.

After ordering Shenwu Qing to escape, Shenwu Youluan rushed toward the beast that was heading for her. From the aura it radiated, she could tell it was at the 5th level of the Divine Limit Realm. If it were only her facing this beast, she would have paid it little concern. With her battle power, even if she could not kill it, she could easily defeat it.
The difference in battle strength within the Divine Limit Realm is very small because, in essence, the Divine Limit Realm is just a single small realm, which is the 10th level Divine Extinction Realm. Shenwu Youluan might be able to defeat anyone below her, but actually killing them is very difficult, especially in the Endless Fog, where they can constantly recover.

The collision between the two crushed the space around them and stirred the Abyssal Dust into a gigantic tornado. The shock waves spread rapidly across the area, obliterating any living being nearby.
