Meanwhile on the fourth floor where the airship had supposedly crashed, a sudden wave of debris from the ceiling came crashing down on every single soldier roaming the castle, some even stuck under the airship itself. Amid all the screams, both Michael and Noah stepped out of the ship, looking at the floor they had destroyed with their driving skills. "Looks like we're pretty late," he inferred. Noah chuckled, almost instantly noticing the staircase leading up to the rooftop. "Let's get to the rooftop, quick!" he said, pulling Michael's hand.
However, he swatted away, feeling an unusual sense in the air. "I feel something in the air," he reported, causing Noah to stop in his tracks. "You're underestimating me! I'm one of the best sensors in the world when it comes to power, goddammit!"
Both of Michael's eyes opened, his left hand colliding with his right. "That idiot Alex is in trouble!"
"Don't you hate him?" Noah asked Michael, surprised at how he had sensed him but still not interested in anything he was saying.
Before their quarrel could finish, Gerald, partially immobilized by the power his opponent had, flew into the fourth floor head first and landed on the wooden floorboards. "I can't move my limbs!" he said to Michael, who was still set on saving Alex for a weird reason. "I already have an objective, Gerald. Just making sure, do you have a plan up your sleeve as well?"
Before he could answer, the mysterious smoke man walked inside the building of the fourth floor, licking blood clean off his cheek. "You called your little friends because you weren't good enough to take me on, eh?" he asked. "I'll make sure none of you cunts are able to move!"
He held out his hand to Gerald, Michael and Noah, followed by the purple smoke he wielded soaring towards them and spreading throughout the room. "The answer to your question is, I never start a battle without one." A blue aura hovered over Gerald's hand, freeing it from the control of the man. "Romanti Style - Extraction!"
Shortly after the events of Hamila had been released to the world, multiple reactions sparked an uproar of chaos and freedom. Volume 11, Chapter 23 - Opposites Attract
Michael jumped out of the window to the fourth floor, using his lightning to zoom across the glistening night skies of Turia. From above he noticed the manmade current of water created by Alex and Samantha.
He worryingly descended down from the sky and caught sight of Samantha and Alex desperately trying to gain access to the battlefield. "Michael, what the hell are you doing down here!?" Alex exclaimed. "We've already taken Cookie down, there's no use for you to assis-"
Both of them heard a cackle from the bottom of the gigantic whirlpool, then saw a flash of light that was revealed as Cookie, who attempted to hit Michael with a sword. "This battle is none of your business, kid!" she exclaimed, her clothes now ripped and disheveled.
Cookie jumped back into the forest, lightly swinging her sword at Michael. She then leaped at him from a tree, pulling back her sword to initiate another attack. "Why do you kids try to fight us adults!?"
Just in time, Michael created a forcefield with his lightning bolts and looked at Cookie with respect. "We fight for the world… so it doesn't become more scum than it already is!" he screamed, disbanding his shield and hitting Cookie right on her back.
Both Samantha and Alex were reminded to flee from the scene due to the shockwave that slightly blew their hair.
Michael had simply seduced Cookie, but he had been thrown into the water due to the power he had carried. He slowly sank into the water, fighting as he tried his best to prevent himself from drowning.
Both Samantha and Alex looked back at his battle for what seemed like the hundredth time, noticing that he had been completely wiped off the battlefield. Their faces resolved to nothing but worry. "Your friend is nothing but a wannabe, and I can easily say the same for you two!" Cookie exclaimed, picking up a sample of her blood and drawing two circles around her arms. "Anarchic Explosion!"
Samantha and Alex watched a giant beam of light charge at them, destroying all of the trees that stood in their way. "It's like an atomic destroyer!" Samantha exclaimed. "We're not going to be able to defend ourselves against it!"
On the other side of the beam of destruction, Cookie was interrupted by a sudden bullet of lightning that pierced her hands and initiated an explosion shortly after, disbanding the beam before it had reached Michael's allies. "If you're going to destroy them, you're going to have to go through ME!" Michael, now transformed into the Lightning God, exclaimed boldly.
