Wen Yan slightly tilted his neck and looked at the time. It was still early, so he wobbled over to Wei's Medical Hall.
Doctor Wei still had the lights on, but there were no patients around. He was sitting there, listening to what seemed to be either a radio or an audiobook. Seeing Wen Yan come in, his head slightly tilted, Doctor Wei couldn't help but laugh.
"What's wrong with you?"
"It seems like my energy got stuck, or perhaps a stiff neck. Can you take a look?"
"Come, sit on the stool."
Doctor Wei reached out, pinched Wen Yan's neck, and had him try rotating it, listening to Wen Yan's feedback.
Wei Jing pinched one side of Wen Yan's neck and clicked his tongue in wonder.
"This is not just a stiff neck; it's like your neck has turned as hard as if you activated Hard Qigong, comparable to processed cowhide. I can't even pinch it."
"Huh? What do you mean? Is it untreatable?"
