Akiyama Saiko looked up at the sea of flowers filling the sky. Everywhere were cherry blossoms, pink and crimson, their petals dancing in the air, falling so thickly that it was hard to tell if the petals came from the cherry trees around or from the clouds above.
Saiko couldn't remember how long she had been chasing through this sea of flowers, searching for Ogikaze and Taoko, who were taken by the Vine Demon and had long since vanished among the cherry trees. She had lost her way several times, relying on military ration pills and nutritional liquids to persevere.
Fortunately, her luck was fairly decent; she hadn't been attacked by the Vine Demons. From time to time, the reflections cast by cherry blossom trees above acted as references. Despite losing her way several times, she eventually managed to find the hidden student dormitory in the forest.
Is this the Demon God's hideout?
