The banquet was proceeding smoothly. For once, there were no ninja monsters or nuclear warheads around to spoil the fun. Li Pan single-handedly occupied an entire buffet table, holding a whole lobster and dipping it in sauce as he ate.
Suddenly, a company drone walked up beside him, curiously watching the back of the Yellow Springs Minister who had been clutching his abdomen and hurriedly walked towards the restroom.
"What's wrong with your minister? Not feeling well?"
"Oh, maybe the drinks weren't that great."
Li Pan casually replied, still intent on devouring another plate of lobster, but the person struck up a conversation,
"I am Murphy, ARGUS Tech's product manager. You seem unfamiliar, are you a new employee at TheM?"
"ARGUS Tech? I think I've heard of that... Oh, and you're a MENTAT?"
