The Chaos offensive met another setback in front of Malin, but they spared no effort, especially since a certain lucky Great Demon had injured Malin; these guys were as energized as if on stimulants.
It wasn't until Malin had been chopping heads all night that these frenzied Chaos finally had a semblance of clarity—expecting them to fully wake up was unrealistic. However, with so many monsters dead, they found their target still lively, leading to the Chaos Folk deciding not to throw any more power into this bottomless pit.
Considering the prior circumstances, Malin knew he had about ten minutes—before the next Chaos Folk clocked in.
