How is it that half of its lineage comes from the traitor legions?
Even if during the army's founding, or subsequent expansions of the battle group, other genetic seeds were used, mixed into the battle group, at most it described the warriors in the group having different lineages, making it a 'hybrid' battle group.
But there's never been talk of a single genetic seed mixing with other lineages.
Under normal circumstances, such a thing wouldn't occur. Once a Bat seed is implanted and turns into a Bat warrior, whether the New Seed that grows out five years later, or the seed extracted after death, would all be of Bat Legion lineage, not mixing with the lineage of the Secret Guards just because they hung around together.
An Interstellar Warrior doesn't reproduce sexually; there's no natural fusion of two seeds.
Gu Hang suspected it might have been genetic technology.
