On a closer look, her skin emanated a pale blue-tint unique to freshly born clay, and wedge-shaped inscriptions vaguely appeared on her neck and wrists—runes given by the gods.
She was the "Heavenly Lock," and her name was Enkidu.
Her mission upon descending to this world was to guide Gilgamesh, the "Heaven's Wedge," onto the right path, seeking the welfare of both the gods and humans.
She succeeded and gained a bosom friend with whom she shared life and death.
Only, the price was life.
Fortunately, the heavenly road never ends, and the Goddess who ruled the Netherworld recognized her achievements and took pity on her plight, granting her the chance to return to the Mortal World, to once again fight alongside her dear friend Gilgamesh.
As the green-haired beauty approached proactively, Gilgamesh crossed his arms, showing a hint of displeasure:
"No need to fuss, as the king, I can handle this."
Though saying so, an unhidden gentleness appeared in Gilgamesh's eyes.
