Chapter 925 - Chapter 925: Xi (Conclusion)

"There's no need to meet. We're not from the same world anyway." With that, Daniel stood up, ready to leave. As for the Rainbow Six team, he would leave them to Rhodes Island to handle.

"If they were fellow countrymen, I might have taken care of them. Unfortunately, they're not."

For Daniel, if there had been someone from his homeland among the Rainbow Six team, even if they weren't from the same world, he would have looked out for them. But unfortunately, there wasn't.

Moreover, in terms of impact, the mad scientist Levi would have had a much greater influence on Terra than the Rainbow Six team. If Levi hadn't died, Daniel might have sought him out to help research Originium. From Levi's attitude, it seemed he had discovered Originium over twenty years ago and had been researching it, though for some reason, his lab had been abandoned.

"Thank you for what you did for Ansel." Kal'tsit nodded slightly and then brought up Ansel's situation. Thanks to Daniel's warning, Ansel had avoided a pointless sacrifice this time. Unfortunately, Wolumonde still couldn't escape the catastrophe.

This was largely due to a sense of complacency. With their crops about to mature and no clear signs of an impending catastrophe, coupled with the fact that the local lord and most of the guards had been taken away to attend a noble's wedding, there was no one in charge to make decisions.

Kal'tsit's expression remained unchanged as she spoke. She had seen this kind of thing many times during her travels across the land. Even so, Rhodes Island did its best to provide relief after the disaster. Fortunately, with Yato bringing in many operators, including elite ones, they managed to hold out until the local lord returned from the wedding, preventing a riot between the Infected and non-Infected.

"No need to be so polite. It's always good to have one less good person die in this world, isn't it?"

"You're quite well-prepared. You were so sure I wouldn't refuse."

In Lungmen, Daniel looked at the large box made of D32 steel in front of him and couldn't help but admire Wei Yenwu's foresight. This was something Daniel hadn't even thought of.

After leaving Rhodes Island, Daniel and Nian arrived in Lungmen. Upon meeting Daniel, Wei Yenwu immediately got to the point about his request.

"If you wanted to refuse, you wouldn't have let Lady Wen Yue know about this. If I'm not mistaken, you're planning to use this ability to negotiate with Yan, aren't you?" Wei Yenwu glanced at Nian beside Daniel.

"Mr. Wei, would you be interested in working under me?"

Looking at Wei Yenwu, Daniel couldn't help but recall his earlier conversation with the Doctor. He trusted the Doctor's wisdom as the former "Babel Demon" and had asked for advice on his future plans. The Doctor had given him some suggestions.

"I'm not sure what you mean, sir." Daniel's words caused Wei Yenwu, Lady Wen Yue, and Rat King Lin Gengrui to pause. In all their years, this was the first time someone had dared to recruit Wei Yenwu.

"Ah, I forgot to formally introduce myself. I, Daniel Davis, am the Emperor of the Great Tang." Daniel spoke solemnly, introducing himself. With a wave of his left hand, his clothes transformed into the imperial robes of the Great Tang, a luxurious black dragon robe with an imperial crown.

"The Emperor of the Great Tang? There's no country called the Great Tang on this continent." Wei Yenwu's expression changed slightly as he saw Daniel's dragon robe.

"Of course not, because the Great Tang isn't on this continent. It's in another world." As Daniel spoke, the dragon robe and crown disappeared. They weren't real but constructs created using the power of the Herrscher of Reason.

"Another world?" Wei Yenwu asked, puzzled.

"Exactly, another world."

With a wave of his left hand, a virtual map of Lungmen appeared before them. The map quickly shrank, expanding to show Yan, Terra, the planet, and finally the starry sky.

"This is your world, and this is another world—a world without Originium or Oripathy. The Great Tang and Yan share some connections. In simple terms, you can think of the Great Tang as Yan in that world."

Daniel then showed some of the history and legends of the Great Tang, such as the tale of Xi E, which resembled the story of Chang'e flying to the moon, as well as cultural aspects like martial arts.

"I see." After a long while, Wei Yenwu finally exhaled deeply. What Daniel had revealed was truly astonishing.

"Since you're the Emperor of the Great Tang, you shouldn't lack talent under your command. I'm already old." Wei Yenwu's implication was clear—he was refusing.

"Old? You're a dragon." Daniel couldn't help but shake his head inwardly at Wei Yenwu's excuse. The lifespan of dragons was something Daniel wasn't entirely sure about, but he knew Wei Yenwu had at least a few hundred years left.

Not just Wei Yenwu, even Lin Gengrui, who looked quite elderly, had at least a few decades left, if not more. And Lady Wen Yue, being of the Oni race, also had a much longer lifespan than ordinary races.

"Mr. Wei, don't be so quick to refuse. If you and Lady Wen Yue go to another world, the constraints of this world won't apply to you anymore. For example, the Emperor of Yan."

At these words, Wei Yenwu and Lady Wen Yue exchanged glances. Without the Emperor's constraints, they could finally have children of their own. While Wei Yenwu was somewhat indifferent to the idea, Lady Wen Yue felt differently.

"Second Young Master." Even Lin Gengrui was momentarily stunned.

"Mr. Wei, there's no need to make a decision right away. You can take your time to consider it. I have plenty of time to wait for your answer, even if it takes decades. I'm in no hurry."

"What is your goal?" Wei Yenwu asked after a long silence.

"I want to transfer a group of immigrants from Terra to the Great Tang. I need someone to oversee this. If you don't want to stay there, that's fine. Once the job is done, you can return anytime." Daniel stated his purpose directly. There was no need to hide it.

Transferring people from Terra to the Great Tang was simple. A place without Oripathy or catastrophes would be like heaven for the people of Terra.

Just like a certain Rhodes Island operator who, upon meeting the Rainbow Six team and learning that their homeland had no Oripathy, was extremely envious, believing it must be a peaceful world. Of course, the Rainbow Six team remained silent on the matter.

While immigration was simple, integrating the residents of two worlds was much more complicated. This required someone to lead the people of Terra.

Although others could be found for this role, Wei Yenwu's status as a dragon would undoubtedly reduce unnecessary trouble.

After a few decades or a century, when the two groups had fully integrated, Daniel was very much looking forward to what the Great Tang would become. Even just for this expectation, he was determined to see this through.

"I need to think about it."

"No problem. Let's set this aside for now and get started here."

Daniel wasn't in a hurry about the immigration plan. He had plenty of time to wait. Soon, he expanded the space Wei Yenwu had prepared.

One was a fixed expanded space, and the other was the large D32 steel box, which was portable. Each space was about two-thirds the size of Lungmen.

"Wood Style: Deep Forest Emergence. This is all I can do for you. You'll have to handle the rest yourself."

Originally, Daniel had only planned to expand the space for Wei Yenwu and leave. But considering that Wei Yenwu might help with the immigration plan and given Talulah and Ch'en's relationship, Daniel used the Wood Style to create a vast forest in the expanded space. This would make Wei Yenwu's work much easier.

"The filming is going well. Don't be afraid to spend money. Everything should be the best."

Since they were in Lungmen, Daniel also took the time to visit Panda Wan Shengsheng. The filming of *Harmony Fist* was nearing its end.

After watching some of it, Daniel was impressed. Although there were special effects, most of it was genuine martial arts. Nian was particularly excited. If it weren't for the need to find Xi, she would have stayed to discuss the script with Panda.

"So you know your sister is in the Huiqi Mountains, but you're not sure exactly where?"

At the foot of the Huiqi Mountains in Yan, Daniel looked at Nian with some exasperation. The Huiqi Mountains were vast, and finding Xi, who could be hiding anywhere, wasn't going to be easy.

If it were anyone else, Daniel could have used Observation Haki or the power of the Op-Op Fruit to locate them. But Xi could hide in her paintings, perfectly evading his abilities.

"It's been hundreds of years since we last met. We'll find her eventually." Nian waved her folding fan, clearly unconcerned. For immortals like them, the concept of time was completely different from ordinary people.

"Looks like that's the only way. Let's see if there's anyone around."

Although Daniel knew the chances of finding Xi using Observation Haki were slim, he still decided to give it a try, if only to narrow down the search area.

"It's really sparsely populated. Guess we'll have to search slowly. Shadow Clone Jutsu."

After finding no clues with Observation Haki, Daniel summoned dozens of shadow clones to search the Huiqi Mountains for Xi.

"This ability is quite useful. You can play mahjong with yourself." Nian looked at Daniel's dozens of clones in surprise, but her next words left Daniel speechless. He had never heard of anyone using shadow clones to play mahjong. While it was possible, it would be incredibly boring.

"Let's wait. There are plenty of wild animals here. We can have a feast."

With the shadow clones searching, Daniel's main body didn't need to join in. Instead, he decided to catch some wild game and make a hotpot—a split pot, since Nian was particularly fond of spicy food.

"Looks like we've found her."

The next day, after receiving memories from one of his shadow clones, Daniel stood up, dispelled the other clones, and placed a hand on Nian's shoulder. With a flash, they teleported to the mountainside of a small, unremarkable peak in the Huiqi Mountains. At the top of the peak was a small wooden cabin.

"My dear sister, I've come to find you." Nian pushed open the cabin door. In a sudden burst of light, Daniel found himself in a classical courtyard. A woman with green horns glared angrily at Nian, completely ignoring Daniel.

"How did you get here? Doesn't the Sushitai of Yan care? What are you doing here?"

As fragments of the Sui beast, Yan had never relaxed its surveillance of them. Even when Nian had lain in her grave for hundreds of years and Xi had stayed in the Huiqi Mountains for centuries, the surveillance continued.

This surveillance was not only to prevent Nian and Xi from harming Yan but also to prevent them from meeting, especially in groups of three or more. This was strictly prohibited.

Of course, Nian's antics in Lungmen were of no concern.

"Maybe they didn't react in time." Nian smiled.

"Didn't react in time? Are you underestimating Yan? Don't forget, they stand with the True Dragon." Xi clearly didn't believe Nian.

In fact, Nian wasn't lying this time. Under normal circumstances, if Nian wanted to see Xi, the Sushitai would definitely intervene. When Nian had sent Kroos and Yanran to find Xi, she had given them a token for teleportation, likely to avoid the Sushitai's interference. Teleportation with a token was something the Sushitai couldn't stop in time.

However, this trick could only be used once. When Nian and Xi wanted to meet Ling, the Sushitai reacted immediately.

"Alright, tell me, why are you here? And who is he?" Xi finally turned her attention to Daniel.

"A helper, someone who can deal with him." Nian smiled.

"Deal with him? Have you gone mad too? If you're crazy, don't drag me into it." Xi looked at Nian in disbelief. If he were so easy to deal with, their siblings wouldn't have gone mad.

Clearly, she didn't believe Daniel could handle him.

"My dear sister, congratulations." Nian suddenly smiled at Xi.

"You really have gone mad." Nian's cryptic congratulations only confirmed Xi's belief that Nian had lost her mind.

"I have proof. Do you know why I say he's the one who can deal with him? Because he's from another world. In your terms, another painting. This way, we don't need to confront him directly. As long as we jump from this painting to another, no matter how powerful he is, he won't be able to cross paintings to reclaim us."

"Where's your proof?" Seeing Nian's serious expression, Xi fell silent for a moment before asking for evidence. She knew Nian well enough to know that while Nian loved to fool around, she wouldn't joke about something like this.

"Your turn." Nian pushed Daniel forward.

"No problem." Proving he was from another world was simple. Daniel repeated his earlier demonstration.

"Infinite worlds, and this is just one of them? How?"

As Daniel revealed the contents of another world, Xi's aura began to fluctuate violently. The courtyard around them started to distort.

"Step back."

Nian suddenly pulled Daniel back. At that moment, a green dragon soared into the sky, tearing the courtyard apart.
