At the same moment, golden chakra chains erupted from most of the tenketsu body and intertwined with each other, forming a samurai-like figure in armor around me, only three and a half meters tall and only the upper torso.
A refined budget version of a personal hijutsu, suitable for an exam and a brief confrontation with the crowning technique of mangekyo sharingan, albeit one that didn't show its true potential. So too, I have a goliath executed at barely one tenth of its true power.
We must have been quite a sight to behold, if the stands, which had been buzzing with conversation, suddenly fell silent. My opponent's formed skeleton was taller than my samurai, but looked flimsier than my solid golden mass of armor.
- Unexpected," the Uchiha said, "If I hadn't seen the process of creating this technique with my own eyes, I would have thought you were one of ours.
- I'm just trying to create a worthy answer to the giant summons," I smirked at the Anbushnik, "but it seems I'm not the only one who thought of such a technique.
I'd better not reveal my awareness of the strict requirements for creating Susanoo, one of which was the presence and development of clan dojutsu. After all, I had come up with the idea, so someone else could do it as well.
- Something like that," Sowa said after a brief pause, but quickly regained his composure, "the only thing left to do is to test it against mine!
And with those words, he rushed forward, apparently no longer concerned about Nara's hijutsu or my status as a first-degree iryonin. He did the right thing, actually, with a defense that could be controlled with a single thought.
After easily breaking through the kekkai with just a couple of blows and knocking down one of the pillars that interrupted the trap, he was next to me and brought the skeleton's limbs down on my samurai, taking advantage of its large size.
Instantly forming a dew shield from the chains in my left hand, I anchored the construct to the ground and blocked confidently, sword in my other hand striking the Anbushnik. Two resounding rumbles made me cringe, but neither his attack nor mine on the skeleton's ribs had any visible effect, except for the sagging ground beneath us.
The shinobi quickly formed a pair of seals and blasted fire through Susanoo, causing me to bounce back, but the goliath easily withstood the wave of fire, shrinking only slightly in size, while I turned the sword in my hand into a dart and threw it at the Uchiha through the falling flames.
There was a massive explosion that tore the arena several meters around and threw the weight of the Owl backwards. Only, despite this, the skeleton's ribs were visibly cracked at the point of impact.
Just in that spot the demon cat had recently inflicted damage and it could be seen that the margin of safety had been lowered and further damage would allow the defense to be breached.
The Uchiha realized this as well. Almost instantly, the skeleton grew flesh and armor, becoming a rather demonic-looking warrior with an oni mask and two swords in his hands.
Unfortunately, it was at that moment that the last clone (I was aware of their plan of attack from the memories of the two kage bunshins who had dispersed earlier, transferring almost all of their chakra to the third) popped out of the ground behind him and created a huge ball of spinning chakra in his hands and slammed it into the back of the Uchiha construct.
- Oodama rasengan!
