Chapter 905 - Chapter 145

Fortunately, once the evidence was in hand, the police did not hesitate to arrest the perpetrators, regardless of wealth and influence, seizing property and money for the benefit of the victims or the village if there were none, and then the families of the criminals who went to jail were kicked out of the gates of Konoha with orders not to return on pain of death.

As a result, there was a lot of vacant real estate in the center of the village, which was put up for sale, allowing me and the clan to profitably invest the free capital.

However, that was news from the outside that didn't affect the clan in any way, but I was more concerned with family matters.

As I paced the hallway in front of the bedroom door, I occasionally flinched at the most intense moans and cries of pain that had been coming from the room for more than a couple hours.

Keiko was in labor, and despite the completely favorable prognosis, my hands were still shaking and I couldn't sit quietly somewhere in the house or go to a bar to celebrate in advance, as some people I knew were doing when they were expecting a baby.

So when the piercing cry of a newborn came, I breathed a sigh of relief and leaned against the wall. A couple minutes later, the door opened and a completely exhausted clone crawled out into the hallway.

- That was mean, boss," he squirmed as he crouched down next to me, "You should have delivered the baby yourself, not sent me!

- Look me in the eye and tell me that the memory of delivering your own child is vital to all fathers," the copy snorted back, "there's already so much to worry about that you have to give up the easy way out.

- I'm tempted to just go out and make you suffer," the kage bunshin glared almost hatefully as he slid to the floor, "go ahead, I went out to wash my hands and promised to be back quickly.

Naturally, I hadn't warned my mistress about the switch, so with a grateful nod to my doppelganger, I finally entered the bedroom and looked at the slightly exhausted, but literally glowing with happiness kunoichi, in whose hands lay a small crying package.

- Ryo-kun, what are we going to name her? - Keiko asked.

The kunoichi was changing her mind ten times a day, and we'd never agreed on a name before.

- How about Himawari, so that she's as bright as a sunflower," I suggested to my mistress, looking at the little girl's wrinkled face with a smile.

- Maybe Hana or Sakura?

- Definitely not Sakura - we already have four in the clan with that name - and Hana has already named her daughter Tsume-chan, and I don't want to copy my teammate," he waved his hand negatively.
