After walking for approximately four minutes, Silver stood in front of the doors to the grand hall with a slightly nervous expression.
Beside the doors to the grand hall was a large, ornate mirror.
The first time Silver saw this mirror beside the doors of the grand hall, he was confused and curious as to why a mirror would ever be placed in such a place.
However, when he asked his grandfather, the answer to his question was extremely simple.
"Oh, that mirror. It was put there so that a king can make sure there's nothing wrong with their appearance. How embarrassing would it be if a king appeared before his subjects with a funny or embarrassing appearance."
Silver remembered how taken aback he was when he heard his grandfather's words. However, he could not help but thank whoever thought of putting a mirror by the grand hall entrance.
He knew he was nervous, but when he observed his appearance in the mirror, he was able to calm down and control his facial expressions.
