"How do you fight someone like that…?"
Kurama was just a part of Ten-Tails, not even the full thing who couldn't even eat a planet, let alone match someone who ate ten whole galaxies.
Arata whispered under his breath, "This guy… this guy's on a whole different level…"
"And after I became a god," Shibai said quietly, "I didn't feel the same anymore. That feeling of being superior… it just disappeared."
He looked off into the distance, his face calm but heavy.
"Instead, I felt empty. Full of guilt. All those lives I absorbed, all those emotions I lived through… it broke something inside me."
Arata and Kurama stayed silent, listening closely.
"As time went on, the Otsutsuki they started to worship me. They saw me as their god, praised me, prayed to me. But instead of feeling proud… it made the guilt worse."
Shibai clenched his fist slightly.
"Then I saw my own people—the Ōtsutsuki—doing the same thing I once did. Absorbing planets, destroying lives. Just like me. It made me feel sick. So, I did the only thing I could… I absorbed them too."
Kurama narrowed his eyes. "You absorbed your own kind?"
"I had to," Shibai said, "They didn't listen. They just wanted power. But the guilt… it never went away."
He paused, then smiled sadly.
"So, I came to a planet that had no intelligent life. Just animals. It was still young. That planet... was this one."
Both Arata and Kurama froze.
"You mean... Earth?" Arata asked.
"Well, you call it the Elemental Nations now," Shibai said with a nod.
That answer hit both of them hard.
"I rested near a place you now call Rōran," Shibai continued.
Arata and Kurama looked at each other. The name hit like lightning.
"That's the place where Naruto time-traveled," Arata whispered. Kurama gave a short nod. "Yeah… with that Ryūmyaku thing…"
"Exactly," Shibai said. "Deep underground, far beneath Rōran… that's where my body sleeps. Or rather, the body of another version of me or of This TIMELINE . One I killed."
Arata blinked. "Wait… another version?"
Shibai nodded. "Yeah. He didn't change. He kept absorbing. Kept enjoying it. So, I stopped him. I killed him and took his power."
Kurama let out a low growl. "And now that power's just... sitting under Rōran?"
Shibai smiled. "Exactly. Now you understand."
Both Arata and Kurama nodded slowly, still trying to take it all in.
Kurama muttered, "This is getting out of hand... First I thought you were just some overpowered guy, now you're telling me you've got a backup version buried underground…"
Shibai chuckled lightly, almost like he was laughing at himself.
"No, no… let me finish," he said, as both Kurama and Arata stayed quiet, their eyes locked on him.
"As I said… my guilt kept growing. Day by day. It didn't stop."
He looked at his hands, slowly opening and closing his fingers.
"So I finally made a decision. Something I'd been thinking about for a long time. I used all my chakra… and you guys already know, I had a ridiculous amount of it."
Kurama raised an eyebrow. "Yeah… ridiculous is putting it lightly."
Shibai smiled and nodded.
"I used all of it to recreate the planets I destroyed. I revived those people too. Every single one."
Arata's eyes widened. "Wait… all of them?"
"Yes," Shibai said calmly. "But it wasn't easy. After doing that, I passed out. Right here, on this planet. I was unconscious for 5000 years. But when I finally woke up… my power had returned."
He paused for a second before continuing.
"And when I woke up… I started understanding a few things. First, I realized what I'd done. The lives came back, but… I had messed up two timelines."
Kurama's eyes narrowed slightly, ears twitching. "Two timelines?"
"Yes," Shibai said, "This one… and another one, where I reincarnated someone as Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki."
Kurama's body stiffened. He turned his head slightly away, clearly trying to hide something.
"I was about to fix it," Shibai said, "but then I heard a voice. And not just any voice."
He took a deep breath.
"That's when I met him. He called himself… Izanagi."
Arata blinked. "Like the jutsu?"
"NO " Shibai said. "But this wasn't just some jutsu. This guy…Is the Reprentation of Creation of our Layer and he showed me the truth. how Existence is divided in 99 oniversal layer's"
Arata scratched his head. "Omni-what now?"
Shibai chuckled again. "Don't worry, I was confused too. He said there are 99 layers of existence. Each one above the other. All of them created by the one true Almighty God."
Hearing that, Arata's eyes went wide. "Almighty God… like the God?"
"Yeah," Shibai said. "That one."
Even Kurama looked surprised now.
"I realized then… no matter how powerful I was, I was just an ant in the grand scheme of things. There's always someone above. Always."
Shibai stood up, his voice calm but serious.
"After that, Izanagi didn't force me to do anything. He just told me the truth… and left. But I made a promise to him. I said I'd watch over these two timelines. I caused the damage, so I'll keep them stable."
Arata stayed quiet for a second before saying, "Bro, this turned from Naruto into some multiverse god-type story real quick."
Kurama just grumbled, "Tch… I hate complicated stuff like this…"
Shibai gave a small smile. "Yeah, I get it. But hey… that's reality. if it's Not complicated then its Illusion or Afterlife"
"Like I was saying," Shibai continued, "Hagoromo… he wasn't born like a normal person. I had to reincarnate him into that timeline. You could say… he was a persona, a soul fragment brought back."
Kurama raised a brow. "Wait, what? You reincarnated him?"
Shibai nodded. "Yeah. Let me explain what happened in that timeline. You remember when Kaguya was running away from her husband?"
Arata leaned forward. "The guy who was gonna hand her over to the enemy just to keep the peace, right?"
"Exactly," Shibai said. "That same enemy wanted Kaguya as his wife. And her husband… instead of protecting her, tried to give her away like she was some tool."
Kurama clenched his fists. "I used to think Kaguya-obaa-san was just evil… I never understood why the old man — the Sage of Six Paths — didn't stop her for good. He had the power. But he never did."
Shibai nodded slowly. "Yeah… now you're starting to get it. He didn't kill her because he understood."
There was a pause. Then Sibai added, "And her loyal servant… remember Her?"
Kurama looked up. "The one who jumped in front of all the arrows during that battle…"
"Yeah," Arata said. "she blocked every single one, just to protect her."
"But one arrow," Shibai continued, "it slipped through. It hit her right in the stomach in that timeline ."
Kurama's eyes widened. "Wait—"
"Yes," Shibai said. "That one arrow… it killed Hamura. And it damaged Hagoromo's soul."
Kurama stood frozen for a second. "No way… so that's what happened?"
"Yeah," Shibai said. "Kaguya… after losing her sons, and wounded like that, she did the only thing she could. She ate from the Divine Tree."
Arata looked confused. "So she ate the chakra fruit after that?"
Shibai nodded. "Yeah. It healed her… but Hagoromo's soul was already broken. Shattered. GONE but only his Body healed and ABsorbed Hamura Chakra who was not Formed."
Kurama looked down, his tone softer. "So what did you do?"
"I had to fix it," Shibai said. "I looked into another world. A different one entirely. And I found someone… someone with the right soul."
"Who?" Arata asked.
"His name… was Jake Milton," Shibai said. "People in his world called him a to SAGEToo . Not like Hagoromo, but… close enough. He had the soul fragment of Hagoromo inside him. So I brought him back. Merged him with what was left of the real Hagoromo. And that's the person your world knows."
Arata blinked. "Man… this is getting deeper than Itachi's backstory."
Kurama just grunted. "Tch. You're not wrong…"
