Gilgamel drifted lazily across the misty surface of Azure Veil Lake, scanning for another empty spot. His robe fluttered slightly under the cool breeze, the soft hum of mana rippling under his feet to keep him afloat.
He was just about to settle near a cluster of runic stones when a sudden rush of movement caught his eye — someone was heading straight toward him.
For a heartbeat, Gilgamel braced himself, half-expecting another self-appointed territory guard. But the figure that glided into view made him relax immediately.
"Gilgamel, it's been a while~"
A clear, melodic voice drifted over the lake.
He turned, lips curling into a genuine smile, "Lysette! It really has been a while."
Lysette hovered just a few paces away, graceful as ever. She was beautiful in an effortlessly striking way — soft chestnut hair spilling past her shoulders in gentle waves, a pair of bright aquamarine eyes reflecting the lake's color beneath the brim of a pointed black witch's hat.
