Chapter 129 - The Shattered Secret Realm

The group departed in midmorning on Dean's Tier-3 magic boat.

When Gilgamel first saw Dean's magic boat, he'd half-expected something grand and warlike — runic sails, steel fins, roaring engines. Instead… it looked like something plucked straight from the sketchbook of his past life.

An alien UFO — or that's what he thought at first glance.

But up close, the sleek disk revealed its true design: an ancient circular watch rendered in living metal. The outer ring glowed faintly with Roman numerals instead of runic coordinates. Beneath their feet, the polished floor was a clockwork dial of interlocking gears, each engraved with tiny arcane etchings that pulsed in rhythm with the craft's mana core.

Gilgamel almost laughed aloud when the realization clicked.

He remembered that Dean's office walls in the Night Tower were practically wallpapered with old clocks. Apparently, that quirk extended to his vehicles.

It seems like Dean really did have an obsession with timepieces.
