Chapter 725 - Chapter 725: Using Sunday’s Permission Levels

Earning $6 billion per trade, three trades a month meant $18 billion. Over a year, that added up to $216 billion.

In that moment, William couldn't help but fantasize about selling fissile materials worldwide. But he quickly dismissed the thought.

If I did that, I'd have no place left on Earth to live.

Sighing, he told himself that more money at this point was just numbers.

"Tell the Predators to bring…" William paused. "Sunday, how much energy is needed for a round trip to Mars?"

"Sir," Sunday replied, "a round trip would consume at most two units, or 4.4 kilograms of fissile material."

"Seriously? That means I can use fissile materials however I want from now on?"

William let out a sigh of amazement. "I'm starting to wonder how I'll even find ways to spend money at this point."

Sunday, being an AI, wasn't programmed to pander to his emotions. Feeling a little bored, William shook his head and left the secret room.

Stepping into the main hall of the estate, he spotted Abigail walking out with Natasha Romanoff, who was dressed in a sharp business suit.

Seeing William, Abigail hesitated for a moment, but when she noticed that he wasn't ogling Natasha, her tension eased. She leaned in, kissed him on the cheek, and smiled. "Done with your experiments?"

"Yeah," William nodded, though his eyes caught Natasha stealing glances at him.

An idea popped into his head, and he sighed regretfully. "I've designed a super engine, but no current energy source can fully utilize it. With electricity, it only operates at 1% capacity. Fissile materials boost it to 10%, but I'll have to lower the design's requirements to match available resources—at least until we find new energy sources beyond Earth."

Natasha's expression remained neutral, but her eyes betrayed a mix of disbelief and curiosity.

Abigail, however, reacted strongly to the mention of nuclear materials. Her face turned pale as she stared at William. "You're saying you're working with fissile materials at home?"

"Good God! I'm telling Lady Lena about this. You're banned from the lab! What if you hurt yourself—or blow up the whole estate with us in it?"

Turning to Natasha, she said, "Natasha, you can head back to the office. I have personal matters to deal with."

Natasha hesitated, clearly wanting to stay and learn more. She considered arguing that with modern precautions, working with nuclear materials wasn't as dangerous as Abigail feared. Besides, a genius like William would undoubtedly ensure his safety.

But voicing such thoughts risked revealing her true motives.

Smiling at Abigail, she said, "Understood, Ms. Chase." She nodded politely to William before swaying her hips and strutting out of the estate.

Abigail shot William a sharp look as he watched Natasha leave. "I thought you only liked tall women?"

"Ha, Natasha is on the shorter side," William teased. Hugging her waist, he kissed her lightly and asked, "How did you end up choosing her as your assistant?"

"What do you mean?"

Having been with William long enough, Abigail was no fool. Dropping her jealous act, she asked suspiciously, "Is something wrong with Natasha?"

She frowned, then added, "Her background checked out completely clean.

Before hiring her, I had Selene from Kingsman look into her records. Her education, work history, and social connections were spotless.

Plus, she's highly competent—every task I've given her has been flawlessly executed. What's the issue?"

William chuckled. "If you and Selene had found anything suspicious, that would've been the real surprise." Pinching her cheek affectionately, he added, "Looks like I'll have to give you two some access to Sunday to avoid being blindsided in the future."

He turned to Sunday. "Grant Abigail and Selene Level 2 access, allowing them to use you for assistance."

"Understood, Sir," Sunday replied. "Permissions have been granted. Congratulations, Ms. Chase. You may now consult me on most matters.

However, questions related to Mr. Devonshire or Lady Lena will require their explicit consent. Certain encrypted matters will remain inaccessible unless you are granted higher-level permissions or authorization."

"So, I only get limited support?" Abigail asked curiously. "What's your level? And Lady Lena's?"

"I'm Level 9. Mother is Level 4," William replied.

Abigail rolled her eyes. "Level 2? That's barely above novice status!"

What surprised her more was that Lena, William's own mother, was only Level 4.

Huffing, she smacked William's chest. "Do you have so little trust that even your mother gets limited access?"

Smirking, William swatted her rear lightly. "Watch your mouth. Don't overthink it. Sunday, tell this nosy woman who Natasha really is."

Abigail had been about to retaliate playfully when Sunday delivered the revelation: Natasha was a 50-something-year-old woman who, through experimental procedures, had achieved a kind of agelessness.

Hearing that Natasha was originally a Russian operative, Abigail froze, her playful demeanor replaced by tension. Hugging William's arm tightly, she listened as Sunday explained that Natasha was now working under American orders to investigate William's spacecraft.

"How could someone from Russia gain America's trust for such an important mission?" Abigail asked in disbelief.

"How else?" William scoffed. "Through blood-soaked missions and unwavering loyalty, proven time and again."

His tone turned serious as he warned her, "The world is far more dangerous and ruthless than you imagine.

I've eliminated organizations that trained young girls to become expert killers and seducers. If you truly want to be my partner, you need to keep your eyes open. Don't let yourself be manipulated into becoming a tool against me."

Abigail nodded solemnly, tightening her grip on his arm. "I'll be careful, darling."

She hesitated before asking, "Selene and I both have Level 2 access. Does that mean we, along with Nyssa, are this family's guardians—tasked with protecting us from threats?"

William nodded, and Abigail muttered, "Then I'll need to treat Selene and Nyssa better.

I should also bring Jessie back from the vineyard in France to help me. I can't let her stay there too long."

William's initial satisfaction faded when he realized she hadn't mentioned Ambrosia. He shook his head, reflecting on Abigail's human tendency for bias.

Still, he thought, perhaps it was better this way. If Abigail were completely selfless, he'd have to question her true intentions.
