Chapter 894 - Chapter 894: A Distant Battle with Odin, Scheming Against Each Other

Faced with two massive bolts of lightning, the Destroyer armor immediately halted the beam it had been firing at William's doppelgänger.

Though it dodged the lightning, the two sentry robots entangled around it pulled it down to the ground.

The two sentries that had launched the lightning stepped in, each pinning down one of the Destroyer's arms, while the other two secured its legs.

The sentry that had blocked the Destroyer's beam flashed forward and delivered a powerful kick to its chest just as it struggled to rise.

The force sent it crashing back down. The sentry then grabbed the Destroyer's head and fired the same kind of beam back at it.

"Boom!"

The Destroyer was blasted by its own energy beam, shattering the ground beneath it and embedding deep into the earth.

"Hmph."

Far away in Asgard, Odin gripped Gungnir in displeasure and struck it heavily against the throne.

As if injected with renewed vigor, the Destroyer suddenly surged with power, throwing off the sentry that had been holding its head and wrestling against the ones securing its arms.

However, before it could unleash its full strength, the previously thrown sentry lunged back in.

It bypassed the front, grabbed the Destroyer—only a head taller than itself—and violently yanked it backward.

"Bang!"

The Destroyer was slammed onto the ground again. This time, the sentry detached part of its nanomaterial and sent it creeping inside the open seams of the armor.

"Damn it!"

Odin abruptly stood from his throne, his face filled with shock.

"It can not only absorb the Destroyer's energy but also assimilate it?"

Like William, Odin began to consider how he could take advantage of this situation.

The sentry nanomaterials that had infiltrated the Destroyer disassembled into their microscopic form, scanning the interior before latching onto its energy core, attempting to cut off its power supply.

Externally, one of the sentries under William's control dissolved into nanomaterial and seeped further into the armor.

The remaining four did the same, fully wrapping around the Destroyer, testing whether they could assimilate its material.

From his hidden position outside the valley, William quickly commanded, "Sunday, scan, analyze, and record all data on this armor!"

"Understood, sir. Scanning in progress. Unknown structures detected, likely magic-based. Estimated time for complete analysis is uncertain."

"I don't care how long it takes—steal as much as possible!"

Unfortunately, while William had his own plans, as the King of Asgard, Odin was not one to be taken advantage of so easily.

Seeing the Destroyer subdued by the sentries' soft but overwhelming tactics, Odin refused to give William more time.

Thus, as the Rainbow Bridge recalled the Destroyer armor, it also transported the sentries attached to it into the divine realm.

However, Odin was disappointed when the Destroyer arrived before him. The sentries that had latched onto it had vanished without warning.

Instantly, they traversed countless light-years back to the valley, reforming into five three-meter-tall sentry robots, standing guard around William's magical doppelgänger.

Outside the valley, William, wearing a satisfied smile, closed his eyes and silently absorbed the spatial coordinates of Asgard.

This unexpected turn not only allowed him to locate Asgard with ease but also left behind microscopic sentry nanomaterials in the divine realm.

Now, if he ever wanted to go to Asgard, all it would take was a single thought to teleport there.

Perhaps he should prepare in advance—otherwise, trying to exploit the situation later might not be so simple.

Having been outmaneuvered and gaining nothing from the sentries, Odin was unwilling to let the matter rest.

"Summon Angela immediately."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

A royal guard promptly relayed the order to Angela.

Soon, a strikingly voluptuous woman arrived in the council chamber, draped in a flowing red robe with a hood, two short blades strapped to her back, and a pair of daggers at her waist.

"Honored Allfather, you summoned me?"

Odin looked at Angela with satisfaction.

"Someone is prying into the secrets of the divine realm. I want you to bring me his head."

"Understood, Your Majesty."

Angela did not question Odin's command. She simply bowed in acknowledgment and left the chamber, boarding an Asgardian spacecraft to the Rainbow Bridge.

Upon seeing Angela, Heimdall nodded.

"The usual plan—I will teleport you directly above your target. Be mindful of the Rainbow Bridge's timing."

Angela returned the nod and stepped into the teleportation portal.

In a flash of multicolored light, she appeared directly above William's magical doppelgänger.

Within a fraction of a second, she slashed down, splitting the doppelgänger in two.

However, the moment her blade struck, Angela realized she had hit nothing but an illusion.

As soon as she landed, she bent her knees and launched herself into a sprint, planning to hide first and then seek a second opportunity to strike—just as she had done in countless past missions.

Regardless of success or failure, Heimdall, who was always watching her, would retrieve her via the Rainbow Bridge after her second attack.

But this time, the legendary Asgardian assassin faced an opponent who could move at speeds of 100 kilometers per second.

Before she even covered ten meters, a shadow appeared in her path.

Simultaneously, identical sentries emerged to her left, right, rear, and even above, surrounding her completely.

Angela sheathed her daggers and removed her hood. Without hesitation, she drew the two short blades from her back, fixing her gaze on the sentries before her.

Just as William was contemplating whether to kill or capture this Asgardian assassin to negotiate with Odin—

"Whoosh—"

Before the sentries could act, a Rainbow Bridge beam descended over Angela's head, teleporting her—and the sentry that had been hovering in midair—back to Asgard.

"Fk!"**

Through the sentry now trapped in the divine realm, William immediately understood—this was a trap within a trap.

If the assassin could kill him, that would be ideal.

If not, she could at least drag another sentry back to Asgard.

At this moment, in the Rainbow Bridge chamber, the sentry robot was surrounded by more than a dozen high-ranking Asgardian gods.

Not only that, but several divine warriors had plunged their glowing swords into the ground, instantly forming a spatial containment field.

But what Odin could never have anticipated was that the Tesseract, which he had hidden on Earth, had already fallen into William's hands—along with the acknowledgment of the Space Stone within it.

This allowed him to freely harness the power of the Tesseract, granting him absolute mastery over space.

So, just as the Asgardians believed they had completely sealed off the sentry, the robot suddenly lifted its head, staring directly at Odin—the one-eyed Allfather with a white beard.

"I never expected that the mighty King of Asgard, the Guardian of the Nine Realms, would be such a petty man—so quick to silence others without reason."

"Silence!"

Thor, gripping Mjolnir, glared at the sentry in fury. Had Odin not raised a hand to stop him, the brash god of thunder would have likely smashed his hammer into the robot.

Hearing the sentry speak, Odin sighed internally. Yet, he immediately composed himself, assuming his role as the King of Asgard.

"Tell me—who are you?"
