Mou Chenyi briskly walked out of the hospital room, not daring to stop, as if a demon was chasing him from behind, ready to drag him into an abyss. By the time he returned to his office, he was drenched in sweat.
His medical assistant saw his pale face, as if possessed by a ghost, and asked worriedly, "Dr. Mo, is something wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
Mou Chenyi loosened his white coat and shook his head, "I'm fine, just let me be alone for a while."
Though the assistant was still worried about him, he couldn't insist on staying since Mou Chenyi wanted to be alone, so he had to get up and leave. Just as he closed the door, he heard loud crashes from inside, which made him shrink his neck in fear.
He had known Mou Chenyi for over a year; his gentle and kind demeanor had never shown such a temper. He wondered what had made him so angry, perhaps it was the recent scandal circulating in the hospital?
