In the nursery, Little Tian Yan was crying loudly from hunger, stubbornly refusing to drink the formula milk. Her face was flushed, looking particularly pitiful. When the nurse brought the bottle in to feed her, the picky little one surprisingly began to drink right away.
Yan Luoxi quickly took out her phone and recorded a video. After Little Tian Yan was full and drifted back to sleep, she returned to the ward to show the video to Tian Lingyun. As she opened the ward door, she exclaimed joyfully, "Sweetie, look, Little Tian Yan..."
The tension in the ward was palpable. Yan Luoxi saw the two elders of the Tian Family, and her voice came to an abrupt halt. She looked at Tian Lingyun's pale face and cautiously said, "Uncle Tian, Auntie Tian, you're here."
Uncle Tian glanced at Yan Luoxi, saying nothing. Auntie Tian, however, was as kind and approachable as always. She said, "Luoxi is here. I forgot to buy something; could you accompany me downstairs?"
