Jiangli returned to the room and saw Fu Shiyan still unconscious on the bed.
She took a step to the bedside, secretly gathered a touch of spiritual power, and pinched Fu Shiyan's fingertip.
The next second, Fu Shiyan furrowed his brows.
Soon after, he opened his eyes.
He stared at the ceiling, with bewilderment in his eyes, seemingly unsure of what had happened. When he glanced at Jiangli beside him, he paused again.
Seeing him look over, Jiangli asked, "Mr. Fu, how are you feeling?"
Fu Shiyan propped one hand at his side, using his arm to sit himself up.
He rubbed his temple with the other hand.
Fu Shiyan, with a slight frown and a voice tinged with drowsiness from just waking up, said, "What happened to me?"
Hearing his even more pleasant voice, Jiangli inwardly clicked her tongue but showed nothing on her face, "Nothing much, I was just worried something might happen to you, so I let you sleep a bit longer."
Jiangli had no intention of mentioning what happened before.
