Eleonora's ears were ringing, as if something hard had exploded right next to them. She hoped she had misheard. But, it felt impossible that she could have misheard it. There was no noise outside and it was too quiet in the room where she currently was.
"What do you mean by 100 black witches were burned there?"
"Just as you heard, Duchess, that day I heard a report from the knight that 100 black witches were burned in that castle." Sebas's face was very serious now, with no doubt in it at all. Eleonora herself was sure that her butler would not tell her something untrue. "Duchess, did I say something wrong?" Sebas looked at Eleonora fearfully.
Eleonora shook her head at Sebas. Compared to Sebas's words, Eleonora had just realized why Effie Eleonora, who was a black witch, hated her so much. "No, this isn't about you! Could you and Aisha please leave? I want to think in peace now."
