The cracks on the dome spread rapidly. Within the barrier, tremors rocked the ground—coral spires shaking, buildings crumbling, and panicked merfolk scattering in all directions.
Queen Nerisa surged forward once more, trying to intercept the Named Demon before he could do more damage.
But the nightmare unfolded faster than anyone could stop it.
With a final shattering echo, the dome—once thought impenetrable—broke.
A low, grinding sound tore through the water as massive chunks of magical barrier fragmented and collapsed into nothingness.
Broken clenched his jaw hard, eyes wide. "Damn it… this is bad."
With the dome gone, the entire Oceanic Kingdom was exposed!
And with that, so was his only hope of hatching the Abyssal Naga Egg. Without Queen Nerisa's help, without this place intact… he would lose everything tied to that egg.
He couldn't afford that.
