Broken stepped once again onto the floating island of Vensalor, and right away, he could see just how much had changed. The island, once a natural haven of rolling hills, trees, and lakes, now buzzed with life and structure.
Though the buildings had been crafted to blend harmoniously with the environment, the paved roads and the towering castle—rising near the highest peak—made it clear that transformation was well underway.
"Good evening, King Broken!" Livelywood came running toward him, grinning and waving excitedly.
"Hey. The progress looks great. How far along are we?"
"Around seventy percent, but it won't be long before we're able to house even more people here. Maylock also mentioned he's starting to train the knights to get used to the island's layout."
Broken frowned slightly. "He's not planning to stir up a war anytime soon, is he?"
