Xu Kai pulled over in front of the café where Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao were meeting at.
"Call me when you're done, I will come and pick you up." He said when Cheng Xaio reaching for the door.
"No need!" She replied coldly.
"Then I will wait here till you finish." Xu Kai retorted back.
'Two people could play this game.' Xu Kai thought to himself, no matter how hard she tries to push him away, he was going to make sure that she falls in love with him.
"No kiss!" He teased, but she sent him a glare and got out of the car.
Xu Kai watched her walk inside and tilted his head backwards and laughed. He just enjoyed watching her fume in anger, her face is always so cute.
Cheng Xiao walked into the café; Shen Mu saw her walking in and waved her hand. Shen Mu looked at the car parked outside and raised her brow at Cheng Xiao.
"He will not leave unless I promise him that I will call him when we finish." Cheng Xiao replied annoyed and sat down.
"And how long does he want to wait?" Shen Mu asked with a laugh.
"I don't want to know. He thought that I might go and meet up with Ji Xiting." Cheng Xiao said with sigh.
"Even he is questioning my character." Cheng Xiao said taking the menu.
"I am sure he didn't mean it like that." Shen Mu tried to defend Xu Kai.
"Whose side are you on?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"I am on your side, but I can also that he really likes you as well." Shen Mu replied.
"You don't force someone you like into marriage." Cheng Xiao retorted back, Shen Mu raised her hands in surrender.
"Would you have said yes, if he had asked you?" Shen Mu asked.
"Obviously not!" Cheng Xaio denied without wasting a second.
"There you go." Shen Mu gave up.
"Shen Mu, he is my boss and all of the sudden, out of the blue, he proposes marriage, of course I would say no." Cheng Xiao explained.
"Why, everyone else seems to want to jump at that opportunity?" Shen Mu asked.
"I am not like the other women; I know that people from different class don't belong together." Cheng Xiao replied.
"I don't want drama in my life, but he, he has dragged me into it." Cheng Xiao complained.
"Perhaps that is one of the reasons he fell in love with you, you were with him all the time and never tried to seduce him even once, that's why he tried to hold on to you." Shen Mu replied.
"But I didn't ask for this." Cheng Xiao whined.
"Okay let's leave this topic, where do you want to go after this?" Shen Mu asked.
"Or are you even able to go anywhere?" Shen Mu teased hinting with her eyebrow at Xu Kia in the car outside.
"We can go anywhere, but now I feel like shopping." Cheng Xiao said with a smirk.
