Xu Kai walked into the room and found Cheng Xiao on the dressing table doing her make-up. He walked up to her and stopped behind her chair.
"Congratulations on your win." He spoke.
"Thanks!" She replied not even bothering to turn.
"Are you going out?" He asked her.
"Yes!" She replied with one word and went back to her business.
"Where?" He asked again.
"My friends and I are going to celebrate." She replied.
"Call me to come and pick you up." He spoke.
"No thank you, I would rather order a ride to send me back." She refused his offer.
"Cheng Xiao do you want to go out in the night and not even bother to let me come and pick you up. What if you end up in danger, do you know how you are when you are drunk?" He asked, he knew how she acted when she was drunk.
What if she ended up meeting a bad person who would end up taking advantage of her, how was he to deal with that.
"I think I would be safer with a stranger than you." Cheng Xiao retorted.
"Cheng Xaio!" Xu Kai called out her name.
"What, you are waiting for me to be drunk so you can take advantage of me?" Cheng Xiao said implying to that incident.
"Cheng Xiao, I know I was wrong, and I have apologized to you so many times, but you still won't give a chance." Xu Kai replied in his voice low.
"I am giving you a chance now." Cheng Xiao spoke.
"Really!" Xu Kai's eyes lit u.
"Let me go!" Cheng Xiao finished and the smile that was on his face disappeared.
"Cheng Xiao, you know I can't do that." Xu Kai replied.
"Then we have nothing to talk about." Cheng Xiao replied and took her handbag.
"Cheng Xiao!" He called out to her.
"I need to go." She said and walked out of the room.
Xu Kai looked at the closed door and ran a hand through his hair. Xu Kai pulled out his phone and texted his friends if they wanted to meet up, Hu Yiting agreed to come when he finished his work.
Cheng Xiao got into her car and started the car; she drove to the club they had agreed on. Cheng Xiao arrived at the club and walked in, she walked and started to look at where Shen Mu was, Shen Mu spotted Cheng Xiao and waved her hand.
Shen Mu was alone, it seemed like Su Li hadn't arrived yet. Cheng Xiao walked over to her and sat down next her. It wasn't long before Su Li also arrived, Su Li spotted Cheng Xiao waving her hand and walked over to them.
After they exchanged greeting, they told the bartenders their orders. Cheng Xiao asked for ten shots.
"Woah, isn't that a bit strong for start-up?" Su Li asked.
"I need them." Cheng Xaio spoke and took one, Shen Mu and Su Li drank theirs also.
