Samantha's mind swirled at Don's words. They touched her so deeply that her eyes became slightly teary.
She still couldn't believe this was happening, but it was. And now the decision was hers to make.
Doubt still lingered in every fiber of her being. The norms her mind had come to accept were still trying to put up a fight against the burning desire she felt for Don.
As his gaze remained locked onto her, she only had a single thought. 'I trusted reasoning before… and it made my life a mess. This is crazy, wrong, but… I… I can't deny it. I won't.'
A brief silence lingered between the two before Samantha suddenly made a move.
Without saying a word, she leaned into Don and just closed her eyes.
