Back in Zandora Academy,
The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, and the students made their way to their next classes.
Lauran and Henry headed toward the physics lab, already animatedly discussing electromagnetism. "See," Henry said, tapping his notebook, "if you reverse the current here, you can manipulate the magnetic field for propulsion. Think of it as a small-scale motor."
Lauran leaned in, fascinated. "So you're saying the principles we learn here actually have real-world applications? Not just equations on paper?"
Henry nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Exactly. That's why physics isn't boring—it's about understanding why things happen. Like missile trajectories or even a perfect volleyball toss."
Meanwhile, Luke and Kaykous settled into geography class. Kaykous' face lit up as he marked maps and diagrams meticulously, asking every small doubt out loud. Luke tried to hide his amusement, keeping up with Kaykous' endless enthusiasm for tectonic plates and climate zones.
Over in chemistry, Xaio and Arron slouched in their seats, lab coats slightly rumpled. Xaio doodled absentmindedly in his notebook, glancing occasionally at Arron, who was leaning back and watching the teacher explain reactions like it was a slow ASMR lecture.
"Do you think any of this will blow up if we mix the wrong compounds?" Xaio whispered, half-teasing, half-genuine.
Arron smirked without looking up. "Probably. But that's why I like chemistry. You can experiment… and survive to tell the story."
Xaio shook his head, realizing again that compared to the others, Arron's enthusiasm made him feel like the most "normal" one in the group—or at least the least dramatic.
The classes continued, each student absorbed in their own way—some with passion, some with curiosity, and some simply enjoying the quiet thrill of surviving another school day.
