While Sharky was with Athena and Angelica… Deimos clenched his fists, his voice tight with restrained fury.
"My brother Phobos is dead," he said. "We suspect Asgard was responsible. Did Odin kill him?"
Hela's eyes narrowed, cold and sharp.
"Do you truly believe Odin would bother killing a mosquito like your brother?"
Deimos bristled, anger flaring as he opened his mouth to press further.
Suddenly, a soft radiance flooded the hall. Two figures stepped forward. Hera, Queen of Olympus and Eileithyia, Goddess of Childbirth.
Hera's voice cut through the tension, "Deimos."
He stiffened instantly. "Return to your father. Now."
Deimos clenched his jaw. "I was about to get my answer—"
Hera's eyes flashed with authority. "Do you wish to be banished like your brother?"
Silence fell. Deimos's rage simmered beneath the surface, but he knew Hera's word was absolute.
He shot Hela one last glare, then turned away. And vanished in a flare of golden war-light.
