Chapter Hundred-Six: District 9 II
"I asked you a question, young lady?"
Zenith took her hand down effortlessly, even if she still struggled to reach his face. "How can I help you?"
The group of men came closer, enclosing them tightly. Escanor waited patiently for Zenith to lose his cool and snap but Zenith peered into the lady's face with a slightly worried expression.
He could see that something scared her and being the object of terror to those who weren't his enemies wasn't a position Zenith enjoyed being in.
He heard her mutter. "My big brother. What did you do to my big brother!" She yelled out the last part.
The group yelled and roared in agreement, raising their weapons over their heads that they wouldn't hesitate to descend. Escanor watching them intently being read to move the minute Zenith acted.
Zenith heard the pain in her voice in the lady's voice. He hummed, she wasn't kidding about this but he had no idea who the brother would be.
