With a soft voice and downcast eyes, she said, "Yes."
Smiling, Savannah asked, "Going by cab?"
"No, Ryder's taking me home." came the reply.
The trio waved goodbye to Savannah outside the hotel, and her smile vanished.
In the parking lot, John headed towards his black Mercedes Benz. "So, I'm heading home fast." he said, before getting inside his car and descending out of sight.
Thea bid him goodbye and followed Ryder to his car, a luxurious,white BMW.
Ryder opened the passenger door for her, and as she settled into the comfortable leather seat, she couldn't help but notice the car's elegant interior.
