*Note:
Hello everyone!
As you can see, I've decided to resume this Pokémon fanfic right where I left off. Although I took a break from publishing and stepped away from the world of fanfics for a while, I returned a few months ago and started publishing my To Love Ru fanfic. That experience reignited my desire to pick up my other two fics, so I started writing again. I now have 110 new chapters, plus 10 additional parts covering the two movies I adapted.
Now, let me tell you what will happen moving forward:
First, the Schedule: Since I'm currently uploading my other fic, this one won't be daily. It might be every two or three days. I can't guarantee a fixed schedule because I currently have a job, and my time has been significantly reduced.
Second, Chapter Length: The rest of the current movie arc will have roughly 2,000 words per part. Afterwards, the length will return to the usual, but starting from Chapter 97 (where I last left off), chapters will be around 2,000 words each. I'm making this change because I find 1,300 words to be too short.
Third, Writing Style: The writing style will significantly improve starting from Chapter 97, so please bear with me until then.
Fourth, Translation: Since I don't have the time to translate two fics, not even by a long shot, the chapters will be translated by Gemini, the AI from Google. Before anyone complains, I must say that my other fic is being translated by Gemini, and no one seems to be complaining about its quality. In fact, while I do receive other kinds of complaints, none of them are about the translation. Thus, I am sure you will be able to read the chapter even better than before.
Fifth, Movie Postponement: The Latias and Latios movie arc will be postponed until after the Pokémon League. You'll find the reason as you read, so I won't spoil anything.
Sixth, AI Images: Thanks to becoming proficient in AI image generation, I will be publishing one or two images with every chapter. Some will be related to the chapter itself, and others will be random images of 'waifus' and similar content. I believe this will help you form a mental image of the characters and certain situations.
Seven: I'll make a few changes to the system in the chapter 97 or 98. Now, the system I did it in this fic is a totally disaster but this will change in the chapter 97 or 98, thanks for your patient.
That's all for now. If anything else comes to mind, I will mention it later. Thank you for reading, and I apologize for my absence over these past months, but I truly needed a break, and, quite frankly, I had run out of ideas. Fortunately, my imagination is back, so the chapters will be returning accordingly.
...
Skyler was astonished and wanted to do something to at least get Molly out of that place. However, when he tried to get closer, everything began to crystallize even faster, forcing Skyler and the butler to back away, as if they were being told: Don't you dare come in!
"Ah!" Skyler exclaimed.
Because the mansion began to crystallize even more rapidly, Skyler and the butler had to flee. Had they stayed, it was probable that they would have been crystallized along with the mansion.
However, Molly hadn't even noticed that Skyler had broken into the living room earlier. Instead, she simply grabbed the book her father used to read to her and started flipping through the pages while recalling the good times she had spent with him. Finally, her gaze stopped at the image of one particular Legendary Pokémon: Entei.
"Papa…" Molly said sadly.
Molly touched the image of Entei and began to recall the previous day, when her father and she had been playing cheerfully while he pretended to be an Entei. As expected, once again, she started to cry as tears fell from her delicate face.
"Dad… come back… please…" Molly said through her tears.
As if responding to her intense feelings, the Unown suddenly became even more agitated and began to create another portal with their psychic powers.
From that portal emerged a figure made entirely of crystal. In fact, it couldn't even be distinguished what it was , but soon, that figure began to take shape and little by little, it materialized until it formed a definitive figure: Entei.
Meanwhile, outside, the mansion and everything surrounding it began to crystallize even faster than before.
The newly formed Entei looked at Molly and opened its mouth.
"Are you the one who summoned me?" Entei asked seriously.
Seeing it, Molly stood up from the floor, completely surprised.
"You are my…" she began to say.
"I am Entei," the Legendary Pokémon stated.
Contrary to what one might expect, Molly stopped crying and broke into a smile.
"Daddy, you look just like the Entei in the book, but I'm sure it's you!" Molly exclaimed happily.
Then, she rushed toward it and hugged it tightly.
"Daddy!" Molly cried out, hugging it even tighter.
"Daddy?" Entei asked, confused.
But seeing how happily Molly was hugging it, it couldn't utter a single word for a few minutes, until...
"If that is what you wish…" Entei finally said.
Outside the Mansion
Daybreak had fully arrived. However, for all the mansion's servants and Skyler, it was no time for joy or to begin their daily chores. They could only watch as the mansion they had worked in for years was crystallizing at an abnormally rapid pace.
"What should we do now?" the butler asked, looking sadly at the mansion.
"I have no idea. This is... too much," Skyler said, astonished as he watched the bizarre landscape rising before him.
"Whatever it is, we have to act fast. Miss Molly is in there, suffering, and with those strange Pokémon all around her... we don't know what they might do to her!" the butler said anxiously.
"…I can only think of one thing," Skyler replied.
"Any idea is a good idea. What is it?" the butler asked.
"We need to contact Professor Oak and Professor Cerise, in the Kanto region," Skyler said.
"I've heard of them, but... why should we contact them?" the butler inquired.
"The three of us studied together in college, and they are both authorities when it comes to Pokémon. Furthermore, Professor Cerise is an expert on Legendary Pokémon. If the three of us work together, maybe we can figure out a way to... solve all of this," Skyler explained.
His two friends, those he studied with in college, both eminences in the field of Pokémon. If anyone could solve all of this, it was them; otherwise... he wouldn't know what to do.
"We need to call them as soon as possible," the butler stated.
"I'll do it right now," Skyler nodded, pulling out his Smartphone.
With Ash
I had won my fifth Gym Badge and was euphoric and delighted to have done so. Now, with the fifth badge in my hands, I only needed three more badges to qualify to participate in the Pokémon League. There, I will face the most talented trainers in the region and those from other regions who wanted to participate in this Pokémon League. I'm sincerely looking forward to that moment ; however, that day is still a bit far off, so I'll have to be patient.
Anyway, after saying goodbye to Koga, we went straight to sleep. It was late, and when we left the Gym, it was already night, and we were all tired. We had spent hours cycling and appreciating the beautiful landscapes Kanto had to offer us. Afterward, I had a Gym Battle against Koga and emerged victorious. Now, after experiencing all this, the only thing I wanted was to relax in the Pokémon Center with my girls, have dinner, watch a movie, and go to sleep. I don't know what the future holds for me tomorrow, but I'm eager to find out what it is , since, ever since I arrived in this world, no day has been boring; every day has always had something fun.
As planned, we went to the Pokémon Center. We had a delicious dinner where we ordered a lot of things to celebrate my victory. We watched TV for a while in our room and then went to sleep. In fact, I was so exhausted that, as soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell completely asleep.
The Next Morning
Since I had just won my fifth badge, we were in no rush to get up and head to our next destination. After all, I planned to rest a bit before challenging the next Gym Leader, Sabrina, a Gym Leader who is an expert in the use of Psychic-type Pokémon. Although I don't have Pokémon that are especially strong against that type, I do have powerful Pokémon that will surely give me the victory. In fact, the time has come to use Charizard. I want to strengthen my bond with him further and check his current strength.
After getting up quite late, we all went to breakfast with our Pokémon (except Mew and Onix, who would eat a little later). But while we were enjoying some delicious toast with Miltank butter, I received a call.
"Who is it?" Celeste asked sleepily.
Roxanne was also intrigued, but she was too drowsy to speak.
"It's Professor Oak," I said.
"That's strange. We just left Pallet Town. What could he want?" Celeste said, puzzled.
"No idea, but Professor Oak never calls for trivialities, so he must have forgotten to tell me something, so I'll pick up," I replied.
Then, I answered the phone.
"Ash, we have a problem," Professor Oak said immediately.
Hearing his words, I became serious.
"What's wrong?" I asked with a serious expression.
Seeing Ash's expression and the question he asked, both girls became serious, and all the drowsiness they had completely disappeared.
"It's about Spencer, he disappeared last night," Professor Oak said.
That name sounds familiar, very familiar, but I need him to tell me who he is to refresh my memory.
"Who is Spencer?" I asked curiously.
"Spencer is a friend of Talia's, your mother's, and mine. We also studied together in college years ago. He is also a Pokémon researcher and investigates Legendary Pokémon, just like Talia. Although his name is not as recognized as hers, he is quite an authority in Johto," Professor Oak explained.
Spencer… That Spencer?! No, it must be a coincidence!
"And what happened?" I asked.
"It turns out his assistant, Skyler, found some Unown ruins and, of course, invited Spencer to investigate them. But when he was doing so, he disappeared without a trace," Professor Oak explained.
"Okay, I understand. I'll call my mother when I hang up, although I don't think I can do anything," I said.
"Ash… I don't know how to tell you, but… your mother doesn't know yet, but she'll probably find out shortly. The TV won't take long to arrive at the scene," Professor Oak said.
"Are they going to the ruins?" I asked.
Damn it, there was no doubt now. I knew who Spencer was and what was happening, but I had to ask, or I would seem completely insensitive.
"No, to the mansion where he lived," Professor Oak replied.
"Why would they go there?" I asked.
"You see, Spencer had an eight-year-old daughter, Molly. For some reason we don't understand, dozens of Unown have surrounded Molly, and they are turning the mansion and its surroundings into crystal. In fact, it is spreading faster and faster," Professor Oak said.
"What?" I asked, astonished.
The events of the third Pokémon movie were unfolding… Damn it.
"Professor, what exactly do you expect me to do?" I asked curiously.
"The moment she finds out, your mother won't hesitate to go to Spencer's mansion. After all, they were... very good friends, so she will definitely go. I'm calling you not just so you know, but so you come and try to help us. Skyler wants Talia and me to go there to figure out how to solve everything, but we need someone to assist us in case we have to... take action. You understand," Professor Oak explained.
I see. I suppose that, since they need to figure out how to solve this, they won't be able to enter the mansion, even if they find the solution. That's why they were asking for my help—a Pokémon Trainer—to assist in case things got ugly.
"All right, I'll go. Tell me the address and which part of Johto Spencer's mansion is in," I agreed.
I would go and solve the problem before my mother could be kidnapped by Entei…
[ATTENTION: A SITUATION WITH A STRONG DESTINY HAS BEEN DETECTED!]
I feared as much.
[A MANDATORY MISSION HAS BEEN ISSUED!]
Here it comes…
[THE MANDATORY MISSION WILL BE ISSUED IN 3, 2, 1…!]
Mandatory Mission No. 2:
Explanation of Events: The events of the third Pokémon movie have begun, and Ash, regardless of the timeline, is obliged to participate in these events. Mission Objectives: As a good fan, follow each and every one of the movie's events to the letter. Warning: Only three failures are allowed, and they cannot be in important events, such as when Entei kidnaps Ash's mother. Mission Rewards: ? Penalty: Due to Molly and her strong desire to have a family, the power of the Unown spirals out of control, and they end up crystallizing the entire Johto region. Thanks to the power of the Unown-created Entei, no one can stop them. Time Remaining: 1 day and 10 hours
Damn it… the penalty this time wasn't exactly lighter than the last.
"The address is…" Professor Oak began to say.
After jotting down the address.
"And remember to get there as soon as possible, we can't waste too much time," Professor Oak urged.
"We'll be there as soon as possible," I agreed.
Fuchsia City doesn't have trains that go directly to Johto, or even an airport, so we'll have to go directly to Saffron City and catch a plane.
"What's wrong, Ash?" the girls asked.
Well, I'll lose some time explaining everything to the girls.
While Ash was explaining everything to the girls, not far from the table where our heroes were seated, there were three very familiar people: the Team Rocket trio.
"Did you hear all that?" Jessie asked with a smile.
"From beginning to end-nya," Meowth nodded.
"Well, now we know our next destination," James said.
"Shouldn't we intercept them here?" Jessie wondered.
"You idiot! Didn't you hear there are Legendary Pokémon? Just imagine if we managed to capture them—just imagine how the Boss will reward us if we bring him a pile of them-nya," Meowth gloated.
Team Rocket had intercepted Ash's call thanks to a strange device and had heard the entire conversation between Ash and Professor Oak. It was a shame the device was single-use and too expensive to buy another; otherwise, imagine what they could do with it.
Note: For the sake of the plot, the artifact is single-use 😊
"All right. Do you remember the address?" Jessie asked.
"I wrote it down," James said, showing a small notebook where the address was noted.
"Then we'll start heading out while the twerp is distracted telling those twerps everything-nya," Meowth said.
With that, and without making too much noise to prevent Ash and company from noticing them, Team Rocket headed toward Saffron City to catch a plane that would take them directly to their destination.
We took a couple of hours to reach the location. However, the plane left us close, but there was still more than 20 minutes on foot. We considered the idea of taking a taxi, but quickly discarded it.
While it was true that we had plenty of money, taking a taxi for such a short journey would be a waste of time, so we decided to walk. In any case, it wouldn't take us too long.
For the curious, Greenfield (where Molly and her father live) is a beautiful town located southwest of Ecruteak City. It's a peaceful and quiet town, surrounded by nature—or at least that's what I saw on the internet on the way here.
Anyway, Greenfield wasn't a place that existed in the video games. When Ash traveled through Johto, apart from in the movie, Greenfield was never mentioned. In fact, its location was unknown; we only knew it was in the Johto region, but nothing more.
We set off for Greenfield (and yes, Ecruteak City has an airport because, unlike in the video games, it is quite a large city in real life). But while we were walking, we bumped into someone sitting at a small table in the middle of a field.
This person was a girl with a red bandana, similar to May's, but it obviously wasn't her. It was the girl who appeared in the third Pokémon movie and whom Ash battled before finding out everything that had happened.
"Wait a minute!" the girl suddenly said.
"What's wrong?" Celeste asked, slightly surprised.
Why had this girl suddenly stopped them?
"You, the one with the red hat!" the girl said.
"Me?" I asked curiously.
"Yes, you!" the girl nodded.
"What do you want?" I asked curiously.
Does this girl absolutely have to show up? Now that I think about it: why are the events of this movie happening while I'm traveling through Kanto? Shouldn't they be happening while I'm traveling through Johto? Curious…
"You must be a Pokémon Trainer! Am I wrong?" she said.
"That's right," I confirmed.
"My name is Lisa, and I'm a Pokémon Trainer, too! I currently have 7 Johto badges and I'm going to be the future winner of the Pokémon League!" Lisa exclaimed.
"Congratulations, I guess," I said, shrugging.
Okay, I don't understand why this girl is telling me this. Doesn't she want to challenge me to a battle like in the original movie?
"Thank you, but that's not all! Since you look like a strong Trainer, I challenge you to a Pokémon Battle, a 2 vs 2! How does that sound?" Lisa proposed.
Well, the moment has arrived, but…
"I'm sorry, but we're currently in a rush. An urgent matter has come up, and we can't afford to waste time," I refused.
If I still didn't know what was going to happen, I would probably battle her, but... we were in a hurry, and I couldn't. I just hoped this wouldn't affect the mission.
[IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE MISSION. THE BATTLE WITH LISA IS NOT CONSIDERED A FAILURE AS IT DOES NOT INFLUENCE THE MOVIE'S STORY AT ALL. HOWEVER, YOU MUST GET HER TO ACCOMPANY YOU; OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A FAILURE]
Seriously?
[THAT IS CORRECT. IN THE MOVIE, THANKS TO LISA, ASH CAN MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH PROFESSOR OAK AND THE OTHERS WHILE SNEAKING INTO THE MANSION. THAT'S WHY SHE IS NECESSARY]
But in this world we have Smartphones. What does it matter if she's here or not?
[NO COMMENT. SHE HAS TO BE THERE, PERIOD. OTHERWISE, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A FAILURE]
All right, all right, but I have no idea how to get her to come with us.
"An urgent matter? All right, I'll go with you until you sort it out! I don't want to miss the chance to fight a strong Trainer!" Lisa declared.
